I Need Help On Wordpress

15 replies
Hi Warriors,

Some problems happened to my blog.

When I visit my blog Inspiration Junction it seems ok on the homepage.
But when I clicked the individual post, nothing came out. It shows a blank page.

Can anyone help me with it?

    Are you using an older version of Wordpress? Sometimes...the installation can become corrupted for some reason.

    Otherwise...just delete the old page and recreate it a new one. That usually works.

    It's worked for me at least.

    But I would always backup my content and update to the newer versions of Wordpress when they come out.

    Hi Skye Joe

    I am no wordpress expert but I had a look at one of your read more links which has this URL http: //w ww .inspiration-junction. com/2010/09/02/be-different/#more-210 the last pat /#more-210 looks a little odd so I would suggest having a look at the link or you may have an ad tracking plugin which is messing things up.

    My 2c

    good luck

    ps I had to break up your URL as i cant post url's yet

    I updated the new version. And it doesn't work.

    Also I didn't know the corruption until I wrote a new post today. When I clicked on it, that's when I realized the corruption.

      Go to your admin page and look under the settings in the left sidebar. Click permalinks and go to the bottom and re-save the settings.

      Let me know where you stand after that point

    Also set your permalinks to custom and add this /%year%%monthnum%%day%%hour%/%category%/%postname%-%post_id% and save

    This adds the 3 digit marker at the ends of posts and creates a possibility of being picked up on google news.

      Are you using GoDaddy for your Hosting? They recently had a PHP attack of some form on their servers.

      Have you implimented a membership (or other) Plugin/Widget? What was the last thing you remember doing before this happened, and can you restore a backup?

      I noticed you have the permalinks in Year/month/day format. Perhaps try %post number% format?

        I'm not using GoDaddy. I changed the permalinks to post number. It's didn't help.

    Permalinks shouldn't cause this, if permalinks were the problem then a 404 would popup or a wordpress404 page - sorry we haven't find the post or something like this.

    Just checked the source code and it stops after all in one seo plugin:
    <!-- /all in one seo pack -->
    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS 2.0" href="http://www.inspiration-junction.com/feed/" />
    so that's still the head part. First i would check the templates: single.php if there isn't a change then go for the plugins

    Finally I manage to find the problem.
    It's the plug-in, "Easy toolbox" that is causing the problem.

    Thank you all warriors for the help!

    Congrats And it's a good thing to keep your plugin amount low, too many plugins can slow your blog down by a lot..
