Help with Google Local

Hello All -

I am looking for some help with google local (google places/google maps). I have a number of stores across the country that I want to register with google but I would like to slightly alter the 'title' of my business in each city. I want to keep my business name in the title everywhere (of course because it is my business name!) but also target different keywords in each of the cities my business is located and add a keyword or two to the title as well. Anyone have experience with this? Do you know if it is okay or if Google will not like me modifying my business name? Should I register them under different google email addresses or under the same one since they are all my businesses?

Any help here would be great. I don't want google to think i am being spammy but i want to maximize my SEO efforts.
