Which is better for quick cash: firesale or dimesale?

I won't bore you with the details except to say that I need to raise $340 by the end of the month to pay my light bill. I'm doing writing work but I also want to do something else just to make sure I make the money. I've got PLR material that I could bundle and sell, but I am not sure whether or not I would make the money the quickest with a firesale or a dimesale. Any advice, suggestions?

'firesale' and 'dimesale' just sound like buzz words. What do they mean/whats the difference?

Firesale sounds more urgent than dimesale. I would use that.

Toby, a dimesale is where the price starts at a low price then increases until it reaches a set price. A firesale is a set price, but it is usually only around for a short period of time.

Dsprank, that's what I was thinking. I just needed a second opinion.

Headed off to go set this up...

Limited copies would probably do better with PLR. I sell PLR videos and do well with a limited time offer (like 72 hours before close) ...or you can limit the copies (only XX will be sold) ... or both! Firesale and Dimesale aren't as common anymore, but hey, you'll never know! Split up the material and do both!

Scott, That's a good idea too. I could do more than one package and see what happens.

How do you plan on getting traffic? I think that's a really important factor in which you choose.
