INTERNET MARKETING

I know it`s hardly likely that I can get an unbiased opinion but what it the preferred method for generating blog traffic.
Automated, manual, free, paid semi-automated...
All recently released applications seem to have some shortcomings and in some cases very short comings...

Like to hear what you feel..

I have had success with submitting to rss directories, blog directories, forum posting (niche related), article directories, video marketing.

You got to work it. Blog traffic and authority builds over time.

If you are exceptionally clever, create linkbait so other bloggers
will link to your blog (hard to do in some niches). Most linkbait
is funny or provocative in some way.

Build an email list - and notify subscribers when you update your
blog. I'm using regular email lists to do this, but I'm also using
FeedBlitz to build a list of subscribers to my blog feeds. It allows
email blasts too, which Feedburner doesn't. Has other cool features
as well.

Claim your blog on Technorati.

Update your blog often. Ping to a decent ping list - Wordpress
does this automatically but you have to put the sites to ping in
it. I've written on the topic of blog traffic-getting on,
surprise! my Blog (below).

Have you tried using scrapebox? It automatically search for your related keywords, blog sites, and of course post comments automatically on Word press.
