How should I market ideas that no one has ever seen before?

Hello Everyone,

I'm the guy whose always coming up with fresh new ideas that nobody else on the internet
has ever created before. I was the first person online to create a software program that
allows you to place paypal buttons on your marketing videos.

My question is this...
How should I market 2 new products that I have built prototypes for?

One is a new way to present the "add to cart" button on a sales page
in a way that visitors have never seen before and they can't help but click on it.

The other is a way to make money with videos on your website that no one
else is doing and it's so easy it would make your jaw drop.

Should I sell my new ideas to Investors who are looking for fresh ideas?
Should I look for partners with the ability to finance my ideas?
Should I go it alone and look for JV partners to help me get my ideas out there?

How do I get my ideas out there in a way that will bring me in the type of dollars
that me and my family can live on?

I'm a little frustrated at this point because although I'm great at creating stuff .
I have not been able to develop a proper marketing plan to bring in the type of profits
that they deserve.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

    video, power point presentation, you can try all the above. Make sure you have a presentation and maybe you can liscence the idea and someone else will develop it. Marketers with manufaturer and distribution channels no doubt.

    everyone has them...the trick is to actually be able to pull them off.

    The answers to your questions, can only be answered by you.

    HOW DO YOU WANT to monetize them? what is your education/training/experience level in each of those areas.

    Where have you had success in the past?

    Who do you know that is successful in any of those areas.

    Ideas NEVER make money...which is why so many with money, do so with unspectacular ideas.

    YKK still dominates one market...and has for CENTURIES...grab an item of clothin, look at the zipper, odds are it says YKK on the pull handle.

    Creative individuals (artists) often starve, because they do not learn business principles.

    The best thing you can do is learn to run a business successfully, then you can do ANY idea.

    Of course, the ideal path to take is to get in front of investors and present them your business for them to finance, buy up to 49% of your business and also help you market for as much cash as you possibly can.

    But this world is not perfect, and for that reason, I suggest that you go to a bank for a loan to help you build a nice website where you can sell your ideas to investors. Then use that website's included email to contact online marketers for JVs.

      There isn't a venture capitalist on the planet who will accept
      a minority position in a business where the majority partner has
      no track record of business success.

      Look... this isn't rocket science and the products the OP describes
      aren't earth shattering inventions. They seem more like very nice
      marketing parlor tricks designed to increase conversions.

      You market them to marketers... who else would need them?

      There just happen to be a few thousand active marketers
      on this forum. Hmmm... I think I see a possibility here...

        Your right, all my products are designed to help marketers increase conversions.

        I've achieved a limited amount of success but right now i'm just looking for some advice
        on a different direction to go forward with some my new parlor tricks

        venture capitalist or a REAL investor...definitely not (banks either)..."investor" as in someone willing to put up money..sure, happens all the time.

        But I agree...start with a WSO...see how that goes

      Your right about creating a new market. It is pretty tough.
      My idea for placing payment buttons on marketing videos went over pretty well
      The only problem was that it wasn't marketed correctly and as result someone else picked
      up on the idea and ran with it on clickbank... the rest is history.

        You are already marketing, whether you are actually trying to or not.

        Just get yourself in front of your target market and talk about what you can do, and build anticipation for the products that you offer and the new ideas that you have. If you know how to actually put your idea in motion...which it sounds like you do...then create a service and charge a set price to add this new selling feature to current sites and new product launch sites.

        Get in on one major launch and your new feature will be laid out in front of all the right people...and they will all see it in action...which is the best and easiest way to sell it.

        But something tells me that you already knew that

          That's the issue I am trying to resolve. I am really good at putting stuff together on the backend,
          but I usually end up asking others to help me with the marketing.

          Your advice sounds really good about the major launch and all and it gave me some ideas.

            And there is nothing wrong with that. Hire marketers to market, and stick to what you know and love.

            A long time ago someone I respect a lot said, "Find someone whose work is your play, and whose play is your work and you will not only find success, but will feel like you havent had to work a day"

            It may be a bit exaggerated, as I think we all still feel like we are working out tails off, but it still rings very true.

    Unfortunately any true innovation that you create will be stolen... Ask me how i know that :-)

    But you have to think like a businessman... If it is so great, can you milk it for a year before anybody else catches on? Can you make more selling it? Maybe partner with someone who already has a big list and sell with them...
