Hi Folks,
I was wondering if anyone has used Sedo to sell domain names before.
godaddy and cheapdomain seems to be very complicated and expensive on selling domains.
Any tips would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
Thanks.

Daniel, yes. I've used Sedo for many years. The key is to place your domain in the most appropriate category, and enter a buy now price. Domains on Sedo that have buy now prices sell 10x more than the ones that don't.

I placed a domain name on Sedo a while ago and forgot about it until I got a notification from them today saying that the domain had been sold for the Buy Now price that I set (great tip, Gene, by the way).

Now I'm going through their selling process, which brings up a question... What do they mean when they ask if you have a technical assistant?

Excellent! Congrats. What they mean, is, are you handling the transfer yourself, or do you need to get a third party involved like a webmaster etc. (if you don't know how to do it yourself).

Thanks for the explanation, Gene. I got the instructions I needed to push my domain to Sedo's GoDaddy hosting account, and the transaction has been completed.

It was a very smooth process. I will definitely be using Sedo in the future for selling my domains.
