After receiving my unknown $40 today, I am now fueld up to make some serious bank.

So I have found a product to promote on Clickbank that would give me $75 commission. 1 sale = $79.00 for me.

I would like to set up a website to help me promote this product. I will purchase a .info domain and purchase some cheap ass hosting.

I need some help doing this, like a step by step guide. I would also need help after the website is created. It would help if you had any Instant Messenger for quickness. So if you send me a PM with your IM address then I'll add you and we can talk. If nobody wants to PM me their IM address then you can help me on this thread.

I am still a complete noob, even though I've read quite alot of threads.

All help is really appreciated. I'm not here to mess about, I am here to work to make serious dough. My goal is to sell 1 product a day. I am struggling to come up with a name for my .info name. Shall i choose a name that's indicated to the product I'm going to promote, or could have a general name? Anyobdy have any ideas for a general name I could use?

I would suggest you build a site on the product name, such as "productnamereview", but this is only valid if the product has search volume, otherwise go with "nichedomain.com", don't use info. It is worth the additoional $5 for a .com instead of .info.

Setting up the site can be done with Fantastico and Wordpress in your hosting (I prefer hostgator). It's cheap... Then set up a blog about it.. much faster.

I know it's not detailed, but you can find more info on it.

    Thanks Chris.

Another Questions is, what if I want to promote more than 1 product? Or would I need seperate domains?

That would depend on the differences in the product and if you go with a niche domain or a product specific domain. If you go with a niche and both products are in the same niche I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

If the product I'm promoting is a flight simulator, and the other product is totally different like a World of warcraft leveling guide, then it would be best to use seperate domains right?

Would I have to pay for hosting twice?

Aiming to make 1 sale per day, is this an achieveable goal?

Use Host Gator's Baby plan ($7.95 per month), and you can set up as many addon domains as you need. Their tech support is second to none, so if you are a novice, you can get as much help as you need.

Well, there is much to say, it's all complicated really.

But the two products you mention might just fall under one general category ... games?

If so, and it certainly seems to, you could have them both promoted off of one website. Let's say games.com (although I'm sure that is not available).

I agree ... go for the .com instead of .info ... you'll be sorry if you don't.

      keyphrase.com is best
      somethingkeyphrase.com/niche/ is OK

In your case something like egamescentral.com/warcraft/ and egamescentral.com/flight-simulator might be nice

I think someone mentioned HostGator.com for hosting ... I like them too and you can get some "cheapass" hosting there.

It is feasible to make one sale a day ... but I hope you aren't limiting yourself to only one ...

Even their business unlimited is only $14 a month which I have had for over a year with no problems and is great for these types of sites

Ok, thank you. I'll purchase a baby plan tomorrow when I'm more wide awake.

Once I make my website, does it need to be a blog? Does a blog work better?

I'm planning on writing articles and sumbitting them at various article directories however I have no experience in article writing. How long would the articles need to be and would this generate a good set of traffic to my website? Do you think I could make 1 sale per day using this method?

Edit: I just read your post rdkelsey, thank you for that information. When you gave the example egamescentral.com/warcfaft, that would be the sub-domain right? Would I have seperate home pages for each sub-domain? Sorry for being an ultimate noob.

      Hi,

The two URL examples I gave there were for one single domain name ... in that example ... egamescentral.com

after the .com is a slash "/" and then (in this case) a directory name. In this example I showed a directory (same thing as a folder) for each of your two different games.

Doing that you would condense all of your games into one website.

I guess what I was trying to point out is that you can consolidate things into one domain when they are all within the same category. Sounded like you were going to set up two domains when in essence you could lump them together under a "games" domain.

A subdomain would be named BEFORE your actual domain name and a dot separating them like this:

      subdomain.domain.com

A subdomain is viewed as a separate domain in the eyes of Google.

    Oh okay thanks.

So for every product I want to promote, do I just set up another page?

I have sorted my Blog into categories such as Action, Shooter, RPG, Simulation etc. The 1st product I'm promoting is the flight, so I'll create a blog entry about the product, and place it into the Simulation category right?

What I don't get, is trying to make the categories key word rich, if I'm going to have more than 1 product in that category.

If I am blogging, like having a review website, would I need to set up different pages?

    Hi,

I have am very satisfied with hostgator baby plan. You can host as many sites as you can there. Hostagor's support is fantastic too.

I would suggest using a different domain to promote products of different niche. This is easier for ranking in Google and your potential customers will not get confused by it too. And if possible, go for .com domains. If the domain is not available, do some simple tweaks on the wording to get a .com domain. If you only want a particular domain, I would choose .org over .info.

About setting up a website, I suggest using wordpress (WP) and the Fanstastico function on Hostgator. It is really easy. Do a search on youtube or on Google and you will find many tutorials on it.

    Hope this helps.

Hello, it is better to go for some shopping cart which most of the hosting companies are proving with the package. If you have selected good hosting package you can ask for this information with them and they will guide you to create a shopping cart for your web site so that you can add any amount of products in this
