BUILD YOUR BUDGET EASILY! [Article Writing]

Many newbies (myself included) started off our IM journeys with no start-up funds at all. I personally, wanted to prove to myself that I could get on my feet using free methods at first. If you are interested on building a budget or earning some extra money then read on...

If you can create a flawless article; one that includes perfect grammar, spelling and punctuation then go to constant-content.com and sell articles there.

It is possible to sell a 500 word article from anywhere between $10-$100. Do not sell yourself short by thinking that you need offer up your best articles for $7 just to get a sale. If you look at the recently sold section of the website you will notice that the majority of articles sell for around $25-$30 with extremes of $7 (the minimum you can sell it for as enforced by the website) and $150 for private requests from clients.

The reviewers there are extremely strict and will decline an article if the title isn't capitalized properly or you submit an article in the wrong font size, font type and formatting. The major problems include spelling, punctuation and grammar and that is why you need to spend more time crafting a fluent article.

That is how they get such high prices for the articles and attract the best webmasters.

I spend 30 minutes instead of 15 crafting a 500 word article that is flawless; you always run the risk that your articles do not sell or might take some time for them to sell. I would rather wait a few days for a $20 sale then have to write 7-10 articles and wait 3-4 days for Associated Content to approve my articles just to offer me the same price.

I am presenting to you, an opportunity to build a budget to be used with PPC/PPV or Media Buys. It requires hard work, but once you've done that then you will be left with some money for testing; that is where the real fun begins.

Give it a shot - you've got nothing to lose

Got any questions? I'm here to help and hopefully learn more along the way.

EDIT: The good news is that they pay bi-monthly (every 15 days) now so you can receive your funds even quicker!

EDIT 2: If you are not fluent with your article structure or are not a native english speaker/writer then there are alternative websites you can post articles to (Associated Content) but the pay rate is much lower. Although, I would think that you would be better off posting jobs in freelance websites.

Can you use Constant Content if you are outside US? I'm not sure if it is them or another well known article site that you need to be in US to get paid by them. Mind you, this is going back a couple of years so it might have changed since then too

I'm in Australia just like you and it is fine for anyone, anywhere as long as you have a paypal account.

Associated Content relies on the person to be in the US (I got around that too) so that they can pay you for 'exclusive content' or else you will be paid per view I believe.

One of my clients buys articles from CC exclusively. They've spent as much as $35 per article. Top notch place.

It really is - the strict guidelines keep the value of each article quite high. As long as they keep this standard then I will be happy to write articles for them and collect the cash

      EDIT: 200th post yay.

This is a very useful post. I started out in a similar way, and whenever people ask how to raise initial funds online I always say that they should write (if they can). It's definitely a great way to get started!

I went and signed up and more than half an hour later, still no confirmation link. If I don't get one, any suggestions on an alternate way to confirm and become a member?

Check your junk folder, it may have landed in there.

I received a confirmation link as soon as I applied to the website.

        Best of Luck.

I'm not much of an IMer yet, but I had to pop in and say YES! Constant Content is great!

Being a writer, I love that site. I haven't made a whole lot of sales on there yet, but it is because I haven't had the chance to put many articles up on there. So far it's mostly been a last-ditch-effort when a client doesn't pay for an article, or I just get a random idea (like an article on recycling shirts and making pillows with them.) But I'm going to be putting a lot more articles up there in the near future because a big client of mine downsized.

But for anyone interested in writing for them, their strict guidelines cannot be stressed enough! I know a couple writers who have been with C-C for years and still scour their articles for mistakes because they doesn't want their accounts suspended again.

One makes about $4000 a year in her super-spare time on this site though, so if you can get in the right niches and maybe get a couple private clients, you can do well!

          Good post, Orange.

P.S. If anyone is looking for a writer on there, "Rainwater" has some spare time right now.

My very first article was rejected right off the bat because my title was misleading and didn't answer the question it addressed properly.

I am happy for that rejection because it will only improve my writing skills and the quality of content on my website/s

Thanks, but I should have mentioned I checked the junk folder right away-a day later it still wasn't in my inbox or junk folder-just never got sent.

I have written quite a few articles for Constant Content and agree that the standard set is quite high. The biggest problem is that your article can sit for months without selling which is not so good if you're looking for a quick return.

I also started out writing articles for Demand Studios. Again their guidelines are very strict - you have to adhere to their format and you only actually get 2 shots at writing the article. They also provide titles for you to choose - you select one and have a week to submit the finished article. It has to be said that some of the titles are VERY obscure which makes research a little difficult; however, they pay weekly - usually about $15 per article.

So if you're looking for quick cash and you have a talent for writing, Demand Studios might be worth a look. (You don't have to be resident in the US).

Even if you can't write the best articles, you could always pay somebody $4-$5 on Freelancer.com to write a good article, then sell it for $20+ on Constant Content.

    Nice share.

It looks like an awesome website for making some seed money (providing you write well) and at the same time it looks like a great place to buy quality content from. Win-win.

Demand studios are also quite good (so I've heard) but I will be putting my money on CC... unless of course, I was about to rank for 'buy website content'

  • Thank you for this wonderful piece of advice. From your post I can see that you are a professional writer and you obviously have acquired a lot of experience publishing articles. My question to you would be why do you recommend constant-content.com? In what way are they better than their competitors? I assume you have checked out other online publishing agents.
