Trafficing Opinions Needed!

We are new in the IM field and are wondering what the best Traffic Tactics are that other Warriors have used and have been proven successful for them in their IM journey to success? Just wanted to pick some brains..... its always great to have many opinions..... as we all know!

    Email campaigns, PPC, article marketing, forum posting (thanks WF!), blog posts, eBooks.... The list goes on and on. It's all about trial and error until you find a strategy that works for your scenario.

      Exactly correct, but allow me to put it in the natural order of progression.

      Blog Posts to article marketing and eBooks to Email Campaigns by means of which the prior suggestions were used to build your list. Then after you have built organic traffic, you can slowly experiment with PPC and then AFTER all of this, post on forums last. The important thing is that you get you content created and syndicated as your foundation.

    All of the above are great techniques and all you need to do is customize them to your own specific flavor to stand out from the crowd.

    Example PPC everyone one says my product is great buy here. Try a few different approaches.

    All methods work. But, NOTHING works better in default.........

    What it means?

    It means, you must find appropriate strategies possible to award biggest benefits for your efforts related to the method (or) methods what they've implemented generating traffic.

    And the truth is,

    It's nothing more than awareness and experience.

    You want targetted traffic, and most importantly, buying traffic. If you can get that, and in large volume, tie it with a converting offer, then you should make bank.

    But, as far as strategies.

    Organic search traffic (seo tactics) seems to be converting the best for me, along with ppc and article marketing. Videos do surprisingly well also, but I find videos are better for me in list building rather than a straight offer.

    Make sure you set youself up with a functional Blog - have a quality gift/report/ebook to give away for free. Then radiate everything back to your blog. Whether that be via articles, tweets, commenting on other blogs or whatever is subjective and already plenty of advice in this thread.

      If you're new to IM, there are lots of ways to get free targeted traffic to your site:
      • Article Marketing
      • Blogging - your own blog or guest blogging on others
      • Forum posting
      • Free classified ads
      • Site directories
      To name but a few!

      I don't know what your budget is, but, initially at least, I would stay clear of PPC as you can end up losing an awful lot of money if you don't know what you're doing!
