Red Hot Article Marketing Tip = More Traffic and Backlinks

Okay a red hot tip for all you article marketers out there ...

1) Organise your articles by niche and publish them under a unique pen name per niche.

2) Spend time thinking about your pen name and pen name picture and make sure they match you niche and will appeal to your niche audience.

3) Find webmasters in that niche build a little directory of them.

4) Contact the webmasters and invite them to take an RSS feed for that particular author or to be notified when that author publishes a new article.

5) Sip a glass of Gin and watch your traffic increase (you could smoke a big cigar as well).

    Great little tip there, Mangozoom.

I also recommend people create two different pen names for two different TYPES of articles - TRAFFIC articles (which are designed to get traffic directly from the article directory), and SYNDICATION articles (which are designed to get syndicated, i.e. shared around).

Love it ... read this before I left to take someone to the aiport and have been pondering it in my car.

Going to look at articles for syndication at this point I write for clicks only

      Thanks for sharing Paul

Could you give some examples, links of successful articles and pen names? I get the idea of a good pen name adding value to a niche article. I confess that although I have written a great deal for different niche sites, I've never used a pen name. I would be interested to try this out myself.

For commercial reasons I cannot show you any of mine.

However it is not too give you some pointers ... truth is most of this is sensible.

Imagine the profile of the people who will be into your niche and create a pen name and profile that matches.

If you are targetting a geek niche go with a geek. If middle aged women ... create a middle age woman pen name and profile.

You can also add your authors RSS feed to feed directories under appropriate category so anybody interested in that niche can easily find it there.

Changing the name is not what we are doing here.

We are creating pen names and persona's by niche on ezine articles ... so not sure how our IP address comes into anything.
