Hi,

I have heard lots of IM-niche people say it is VERY IMPORTANT
for you to BE SPECIFIC In the IM niche such as:
- copywriting niche
- product creation niche
- sales funnel niche
- video marketing niche
- etc

Reflecting back, I notice I have general interests in most parts of the IM
but I have MOST SATISFACTION & ENJOYMENT from creating
UNIQUE & INNOVATIVE products in a niche that is the first & original
product...

For example...
- i came up with the first & only course on winning in the scratcher tickets (that really makes me pumped up..)
- i came up with the first "How to improve a convenience store business" home study course
- i came up with the first "how to attract asian women" audio course
- i came up with "how to quit marijuana" (very few competitors)

What tips can you give me about a DIRECTION for me to go into considering
I have lots of interests & passion & enjoyment in coming up with NEW & INNOVATIVE
ideas in a small niche?

I don't necessarily depend on the typical niche research (high demand low competition)...
instead, I just think of a COURSES that are not out there yet...and create the FIRST One...

Any tips on how I can STAND OUT & what my USP can be when I go into
the IM-niche (probably starting within 1-2 months)? What would my niche
be called? Is there a word for it?

I would LOVE to hear your advice and any comments...

Thanks
BJ

If you have enough time to work on IM i don't think you need to limit yourself to just one direction. Outsourcing will also help you to working on different directions at the same time.

      BJ,

First I must commend you for asking perhaps the most intelligent question I've seen a new/newer internet marketer ask. Bravo. What's missing for most people is indeed a specific direction.

As someone who has enjoyed pioneering specific ideas/methods in a few different niches I understand where you are right now.

There's a ton I can say about this and we could certainly do some stuff on PM. However my immediate thought is to choose.

Choose the audience you want to get in front of (at least the audience you want to start with) and immerse yourself in the experience of that audience. Get on all the same lists, hang out at all the same forums, figure out what they're wanting...most importantly figure out what they're already buying.

Then take your expertise in innovative and pioneering product creation and give 'em what they want.

Gotta run but I may have more to add to this thread later.

      Best regards,
      Ken

  • How to quit smoking marijuana - few competitors, that is funny. Those are some very unique niche ebooks you have written there.

It looks to me like you have already found your direction? Assuming that you sold these in some fashion or used them to build a list or what have you, why would you want to go in a different direction in the IM niche?

--- I want to TEACH what I do to newbie or intermediate IM'ers...but don't know what I can teach & focus on that would SEPARATE me from all those how to make money im courses.

would you consider what i do as "niche marketing"...is that a specific enough niche for IM?
