Changes to Google keyword tool and search box functions?

1. Since Google recently did away with the "previous interface" for their keyword tool, I can no longer find the menu button that used to be on the far right in results - the one that gave you the choice to see results in broad, exact or phrase.

Does anyone know if this option is still available on the new version and, if so, where it can be found?

2. Also, when typing a keyword in the Google search box and then clicking on the "Advanced Search" link, there's an option to change the results per page. I've used this in the past, selecting 100. Since yesterday, even after selecting 100 results to be shown, it still only shows 10 results.

Anyone else having this problem?

Thanks much!

Karen

Scroll down the left hand column. Under "match types" there are check boxes for broad, [exact], and "phrase".

It's actually kind of interesting because you can have it show all of them at once, exact keywords show up with brackets around them, and phrases show up with quotes.

It should be showing 50 at a time, and then you have to click the arrow at the bottom of the page, to see the next 50 results. And the exact match is on the lower left, as stated above.

    Hi Glenn and anyone else,

My second question actually had to do with using the Google Search Box at www dot google com (not the keyword tool).

After typing in a keyword and then clicking on the "advanced search" link, it takes you to the Advanced search screen.

On that screen there's an option under "Need more tools?" called "results per page".
    The choices are 10, 20, 30, 50 and 100.

I like to choose 100 for various projects.

Anyway, it worked fine up until yesterday. Now, however, when I select 100 and then click on "advanced search", instead of changing the results page to show 100 results, it still only shows 10 results.

So, could someone give this a try to see if that's what happens for you as well?

    Thanks.

I just tried it and it showed 100 for me.

I do have Google Instant turned off. I can't imagine that being a factor, but thought I'd mention it, just in case, because....well, it's Google? Having it turned on hides the link wheel, which I don't really get, so who knows.

    RanD,

Guess what? That was the problem! With Google Instant on I can't get more than 10 results. With Google Instant off, I can get up to 100.

    So...that's Google for ya!
