just wondering.do people promote anything and everything on their list? or is it based on the niche used to get people to opt in.how do you find the products to promote to your list? and is list building enough to make a full time income?

What I personally do is promote products in that niche, or products that relate to that niche.

So lets say I have a list about body building. I would promote body building predominately, but I would also throw in topics or promotions about fitness programs, weight loss programs, diet/nutrition guides.

All of this can be videos/audio/pdf/articles given free. Don't spam your list with only promotions of products.

Also something I just thought of, you might be able to get away with promoting some sort of dating guide, seeing as how people want to have a fit body, they probably want it to impress someone from the opposite sex.

As for making a full time income: I'm sure there's many people who do. From what I know, it would take a long time and a lot of work.

I know list building is one of those tried and true business models though. I personally use it and I recommend everyone to use it. It's definitely a solid way to make money online.

Unfortunately a lot of people do promote anything and everything to their lists which is not a good thing. If you have different niches then you should have different lists and not combine them and pass on irrelevant information.

Many people make a living from their lists. There are 2 kinds of lists. There are freebie lists and buyers lists. They buyers lists is where you will make your money from.

As far as promoting products to a list, you either promote your own product that you created or you become an affiliate to other peoples products and promote their products to a list.

To find products to promote go to Clickbank, chose a niche that would interest you and do a search for what products are available in that niche. Find one you like, build a website around it and drive traffic to it.

Buddy, I think what you should do is sign up for a few different lists and see what you like about other marketers, and dislike.

There's no better way to learn how to do this than "reading between the lines" and doing what people are already doing.

Don't get annoying and keep promoting offer after offer, promote good free content too. I suggest sending your readers to a blog and having them comment on it.

That way they get some good content, AND you get traffic to a place where people might see offers that you're not directly promoting
