Needing SERIOUS Wordpress Help...

Hey guys,

I know I can do a Google search and find some basic Wordpress tutorials (whoever did the best SEO wins lol), but I'm looking for the actual best free tutorials online...I understand that's sort of an oxymoron.

If you all aren't able to think of that, just let me know how to upload pics and install some style of flashplayer to my Wordpress blog.

I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

    Uploading pics is easy, you can do it from New Post section, just upload the pic and get the url, or publish it if you want to.

    For videos, there are some FLV player plugins, I personally use and recommend you to use JWplayer.

      U know what - the simplest method to find out what u want to know is to simply type it into google. Just type it into google like you are asking someone a question. Its more intuative then you think. Ive had some very obscure coding problems with wordpress and ive either typed in the exact error message or just asked google "how to fix........"

      I learnt everything i know about web designing, coding etc from Google/the internet.

    Are you looking for info for your self-hosted blog or for one on the wordpress.com server? Have you tried searching their tutorial databases? I self-taught myself quite a bit about WP with just their public tutorials.

    Lorelle is one of the most reliable sources of information for Wordpress. When I need some information, her blog is one of the first places I check. Lorelle on WordPress

    I also search with WP plugin as part of my search term. It sometimes amazes me, how much good stuff is out there.
