Ad Placement: What Works Best for You?

I understand that contextual links work really well in terms of the best conversions, but aside of this .... in terms of banners, do you prefer vertical skyscrapers or large 300 x 250 squares? What would you use?

    With adsense the 336 x 280 above the fold, in content, is the best converter. The 160 x 600 skyscraper in the left sidebar is next, and the the 468 x 60 below the post to clean 'em up. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

    Thank you! That's generally what I have.
    I am only using one Adsense link to keep "clicks" from being watered down and to avoid looking "MFA" even though I'm using thesis and push solid content.

    The sidebar banners were always something I wanted to know more about. :-)
