How can I monetize this blog?

I started a new blog a week ago. Yesterday it was up to 34 uniques and it's had 18 today (and it's not yet 10am).

I'm struggling with how to monetize it and wondered if anyone would be kind enough to take a look and give me some tips. It's nothing clever - just an off the shelf blogspot blog.

Bear in mind that all the visitors are coming via Google so land on one page and not the full blog - if you see what I mean.

Oh - it's the first blog in my siggy.

Go to www.Clickbank.com/marketplace and pick an affiliate product to promote.

Sign up for adsense and put up some google ads.

I am having some lucks with Kontera which they will provide advertisements links to your keywords in your content.

Some other good text links ads that I am having some luck with includes Text-Link-Ads and Linkworth

I am also using Google Adsense, Adbrite and Bidvertiser.

But I heard that having these kinds of monetization will penalize your SERP... do not know how true is that, hopefully some of the experts here will provide some insights.

Chris - both of those are already on there.

Dexter - I haven't tried Kontera. Will head on over and take a look.

Edit: It seems I've already signed up there - just never used it. Have added it to blog. Couldn't believe how easy it is to add to a blogger blog. 2 clicks and it's done - amazing.

I would say, remove google ads. Gets the visitors clicking away and I doubt those keywords are particularly high paying, as well as the fact that they can be an eyesore, espescially if you have other text or image ads on your blog. Of course if they pay well enough and u got enough clickers that it makes you enough money to want to keep them, keep them.

Other than that, you can sell ads, and find more products on clickbank or search on google for individual affiliate programs. When you have more visitors, buy a few and review them.
Set up a newsletter, or make them email subscribers to your blog, with an OTO if possible.

    Just a few suggestions...
