Any excel masters in here?

I use excel a lot, usually in a way it was probably not intended but oh well. I use it to keep track of a lot of URLs, for example.

Lets say I have a bunch of URLs: some with http://, some with www., some with both or neither. How do I change all URLs in a column so that only the part after the http:// or the www. will be displayed?

I can copy it and write a script to do it, but Im trying to figure out how to do this in excel only.

Any advice is appreciated.

Replace (ctrl l) the http:// with "", do the same with the www.

If you want to remove those extra parts do a Search and Replace.

Search for the http://www. and replace with blank.

    Same for the www.

If you are trying to do something else, please clarify.
