Anyone using Wishlist membership?

I've been asking for help at wishlist but no answer; I'm looking for a new membership software and need one that will allow me to keep members in separated groups. All members will have access to changing information on 2 pages, but I must be able to monitor them according to who referred them to me, Can I keep them in various groups? thanks BR

I'm not sure if you're asking if there is an affiliate module built in but there isn't presently one. I think someone did develop an affiliate plugin to work with Wishlist which would solve your referrer problem.

If that's not what you were asking.....

You could keep the groups segregated by setting up different levels but with the same permissions inside the membership section for the pages you would update.

Tracking the referrer could be possible by dedicating a level/payment link to each referrer but this would really only be practical if you had just a few referrers.

Something like Easy Member Pro might be a better option as it has the affiliate capability already built in.

    Hopefully that helps you some.

All those tips are much appreciated, I'm treading water as fast as I can but not making much headway on choosing the right membership software for this project, not to mention running out of time..
I was thinking about that member levels idea too, maybe thats the answer.

Maybe I can clarify a little; different businesses recommend my services to their members, in return for a share of whatever purchases they make. I'd like to keep the members that come from each bundled in a group so that I can isolate and share the data (like numbers and purchases) so all can see I run an honest ship.
DL Guard has this function but I'm not experienced enough to feel confident with it.

Any suggestions on a WP friendly membership program that has a grouping feature?

I think what you want to do is to create 2 levels.
      referred A
      referred B

Set the wishlist system to not show content to members who dont have access to that level.

Then have a seperate sales and signup button for each.
You may be over thinking this.

As an option, you may consider MemberWing X.

Membership Site Plugin – Wordpress Membership Plugin – MemberWing

Will do what WL does, but has a built in affiliate program. Gleb, the developer, is a member here and a great guy to deal with. You could contact him and get more specific answers to any questions you have. Great guy to deal with.

    Thanks,

    John
