Bev Clement Health Update

I know many long time members here know and respect Bev Clement and her husband Rob.

It was my privilege and honor to meet her and Rob face to face last year at the Warrior Networking Event in Raleigh, North Carolina.

At that time, they were living in Hong Kong and flew to Raleigh for the event, as well as, take in a little business and RR while they were stateside.

Since then, we have had many conversations via e-mail and Skype.

This morning she called me on Skype with some difficult and disturbing news.

The news she gave me cut like a knife.

Before posting this thread, I asked Bev if she would mind if I announced to this forum what she had told me. She said; "Feel free".

Those close to the Clement's, know that since March of this year, Bev has been suffering from severe health problems and has had to move back to England were she has spent much of the past six months in the hospital.

Last week she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The extent of the spread of this disease is not fully known at this time, but it is suspected to have spread into her liver.

She has undergone chemo-therapy in the past months and those treatments will resume next week.

Her and Rob remain optimistic and are trying to keep their spirits up during this most difficult time.

But, as you can imagine, their financial situation is grim. Bev revealed to me that they have virtually no income.

If Allen and the moderators read this post, please feel free to contact me, as I am seeking guidance and assistance to the possibility of starting a donation thread on the Warrior Forum.

For the time being, Please Donate Here <==== (CLICK to Make a Donation)

I have no idea how to set this up or if this is even possible. I do remember when Michael Tracey needed our help we rallied to his aide and were proud to do so.

Bev and Rob, if you read this, know that you are in our prayers and that miracles DO happen.

To the rest of you Warriors, never take life and health for granted, for without them, nothing else really matters.

Your Warrior Friend,

Rich

    HI Rich.

When you talk to Bev again, be sure to tell her that I send my prayers and best wishes.

I think the usual way to set something like this up is with a Paypal link but I would run it by the Helpdesk/Super Mods/Admin so it might be possible it will stay in the Main Forum... (I don't know if that is possible though anymore).

It might be best if it was a direct Paypal link to Bev's account - but not sure if she is able to set one up just for this purpose as with the world we live in people probably shouldn't post their regular account link...

Keep us posted here in the OT...

      Will do.

As far as setting up a donation, I know it can be done somehow through paypal, but I have no idea what's involved with getting the donations to Bev and Rob.

Need some enlightenment on the subject. I was recently involved with a charitable contribution to Dr. Mani's CHD Foundation and there ended up being some snags with Paypal.

It would be really good if the mods would allow this to be posted in the main forum, I appreciate it is an off topic subject, but in the circumstances many more people who know Bev will see it. I only found the thread because I was looking for her name to see if anything had been started

      Kim,

I posted it here in the OT just to make sure I didn't break the rules. Maybe one of Super Mods would like to move it to the main forum.

I just wanted to get the information out. I thought about posting in the Main forum but decided against it.

An alternative is to create a page on someone's site with the
    link to her PP.

If this is done, I suggest they inform PP about the situation because
if there has been low activity on their account, a sudden increase
with funds coming in will most likely raise a flag. And if the funds get
frozen then obviously that's not good. But I think the amount coming
in plays a certain role with the red flag thing.

People who have a lot of friends on FB and Twitter can ask for donations
    as well.

Hope that helps... get well soon, Bev.

This is a great idea. It would take a collaborative effort on the part of many people. I'm not sure of just how to pull this off. Maybe start a thread requesting volunteers/donations? Maybe the mods would like to make some suggestions.

Another great suggestion. I'm pretty sure Bev isn't up to dealing with PP on the phone. I'll have to talk to Rob and see if he could help out with these ideas.

That is very generous Adam. Thank You. I'll make a spreadsheet and start cataloging donated items.

In the meantime, if everyone would make an effort to get the word out about this thread, I'm sure it would greatly expedite the effort.

Just so everyone knows, it's very difficult for Bev or Rob to have time to communicate. So information from them will be sporadic at best.

  • I heard from Bev today, with the following terse line in Skype: "It is cancer". I had suspected as much, but didn't voice my suspicion out of respect for Bev's feelings and attitude.

Since Rob's work has been the only source of income for both of them (and he spent all his time with his wife in hospital), any fund-raising will be most appreciated. Bev gave more than she got from this forum. Let's see if we can return the favor.

Bev was one of the first people to welcome me to this forum when I first
arrived here almost 4 years ago.

Bev, you WILL beat this. With your determination and no BS can do attitude
(you kicked my butt plenty of times when I was behaving like an ass) you
      WILL beat this.

And then I will more than welcome you to come back here and kick my

Vince, I couldn't agree more. This is one of those situations, where we as Warriors, have an opportunity to give back to someone who has always given so much.

        I'm in. Of course.

Bev, Rob...you're squarely in my thoughts.

My mum and mum-in-law have beaten cancer twice each, so I know it's do-able. With your fighting spirit, the thing doesn't stand a chance.

I'd like to think the normal "rules" don't apply when it comes to Bev's situation...indeed, I would say Bev's standing here demands this thread to be moved to the main forum.

My family's thoughts and prayers are with Bev and Rob.

For those that don't know Bev, she has always been a giver, and always looking out for people on the forum.

As far as the snags with PayPal and the giveaway event, I believe that will NOT be a problem for raising money for Bev. All we need is her PayPal address. Of course we'd have to get her permission first.

Let me also add that I know, personally, just how giving Warriors can be when things like this happen.

In the meantime, if anybody has any links to any of Rob's or Bev's products, that would help get them some money quickly.

    Let's do it!

I like the idea of donating products with 100% going to Bev, I think she would like that. We could set up a web page and have the money deposited directly to her PayPal Account. If anyone can set up some kind of residual income site, membership site where Warriors get valuable info... product, software and would be willing to join that would solve the income problem not just one time but ongoing. I never met Bev but I have been in this forum for many years and remember her support and kindness.

    Hey Rich,

I'd like to help but not sure what would be best. I have several
things I could do, but I'm extremely busy with writing.

    But I have an idea.

I'll foot the bill for running a WSO from either Bev or Rob. Maybe
you can ask Rob about it. And he and Bev can decide what would
be the biggest bang for the buck.

Then... perhaps they could put something in the title, or maybe even
above the headline regarding the situation. But of course that's up
    to them.

I can send them the cash, or maybe make arrangements with the
forum to pay for it, and they can submit it when they're ready.

I'm not sure how much of a hassle it would be to do the latter. So
perhaps sending them enough to cover it would be best.

Let me know. Might be best to PM me about it, as you see fit.

Count me in on anything that needs to be done. Bev was one of the first people I made contact with here, and played a large role in me getting to where I am today.

She has helped countless people, and its a no-brainer on returning the favor. She has selfishly given to this forum and others, it is only appropriate that if needed we return the good deed.

      Again, count me in.

I believe I have come up with a workable plan to accomplish a meaningful end result.

It will have a two prong approach.

First Prong: I'll be working with Bev and Rob to get a "Donate" button so those that have expressed a desire to contribute directly will have that option.

Second Prong: For those that have expressed their desire to contribute products or services, please contact me by PM with the details of your offering (product name, type of product and how it will be offered) Please be as specific as you can.

It might be best if the products were assembled in a package. It all depends on the product itself. Especially if the product is a service.

The bottom line here, is to bring these things together as expeditiously as possible so the greatest benefit can be realized quickly.

I talked with Bev and Rob this morning after sending them the link to this thread yesterday, and they expressed their deepest appreciation and gratitude to all those who have stepped forward with their words of kindness, generosity and support.

          Well done Warriors... Well done.

Now let's make the rubber meet the road.

I am aware that she had some health problems back in the UK, but I thought it was some sort of obscure chronic illness given the amount of time taken to investigate her. Still things may be much better than it sounds and I hope she will gather every strength in her to beat this. She and Rod will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I'm working with Bev and Rob to get a PayPal "Donate button done. There are some back end activities that have to be completed before that can happen.

As soon as that happens (on their end) I'll be posting the information here.

      Hi Rich,
This is sad sad news. I knew Bev was in bad state health wise when I last chatted to her a few months ago. I hadn't wanted to bother her recently as she said she had no energy.
Bev...hope you take you 'no nonsense' approach to your health as you do in your business.
I have donated a little something to help.

I've only talked with Bev a time or two on the forum, but I've read more than a few of her posts. I'm on board.

I'll PM you with a service donation, Rich, and hit the "donate" button too.

This, by the way, is what seperates WF from most other gathering places on the internet. For those that read this thread and don't know Bev, I want you to keep something in mind as you make your way through this forum...

...this is a family. Contrary to what many think Pancreatic Cancer can and has been beat. There is ABSOLUTELY no question about that. It is NOT a death sentence as Records documented in the past confirm this.

I dont know you Bev other than seeing you Post in here since I have been here the last 2.5 years. But you seem like an incredibly thoughtful and kind person.

And above everything else you seemed really, really strong and no doubt you will beat this thing.

I just found this thread and with that just found out about Bev's health challenge. What shocking news!

I really enjoyed meeting her and Rob at the Warrior conference, and have corresponded with her on the Warrior forum and off, though not recently.

I will keep her in my prayers and add her to our Prayer list as well, and send her Quantum Touch energy as well.

I am myself a cancer survivor, and it's no fun to go through the chemo etc, and I have heard that pancreatic cancer is especially rough.

Bev, if you're reading this, do you know the book "Cancer as a Turning Point" by Lawrence LeShan? It's an amazing book! And available for pennies at Amazon.com. It helped me enormously get through my own challenge.

I'll also check into contributing something for the fundraiser WSO as well.

        Rich,

I have had more than my fair share of Warriors helping me out over the years and I have no problem giving back whenever I can. I wish I could do more actually.

Normally I would offer several copies of my product to go in a dimesale that was being organized but this time I'm afraid I have my own personal difficulties and just can't afford to make the same offer I normally would.

She's been so selfless in helping others out, including me, that we owe it to her to do all we can... and WF is amazing for doing all we can. (If this isn't coherent, that's because my brain is gone for the night. I'll catch it tomorrow. :p )

I pray for the best and KNOW that the Lord can do anything. My husband had esophageal cancer diagnosed in April, went through chemo and radation, and is now CANCER FREE. I know this is due to great doctors who are blessed with the knowledge and ability to perform such miracles, but God no doubt had a hand in this is well.

I hope Bev and Rob keep their spirits up and have faith; nothing is impossible, and I wish for the best for both. Cancer is a horrible thing, but miracles absolutely DO happen.

For those of you who don't know (and don't know if this has been mentioned

        Steven,

This is so true. Bev was like the Rock of Gibraltar around here. You could always count on her to keep a watchful eye over this place like very few people here could or would do. Nobody I'm aware of has stepped up to fill her shoes here in her absence. That kind of commitment to this community is very rare and much appreciated.

        Bev,

Your common sense approach to business and life in general is a true inspiration. I wish you a speedy recovery and really miss your presence here.

Very disappointed to hear about Bev's condition. I haven't been here on Warrior very long but one thing that stood out immediately as I read through the forums daily was that Bev was not somebody who stood around and let scammers cheat honest folk. I was always very vocal about scammers as I had been cheated enough times to want to track down a few Warrior members but never said anything in fear since Warrior has tight rules when it comes to exposing scammers.

As Steven Wagenheim had already mentioned, Bev didn't stand for the BS games that get played on here. And also as Bill Farnham said, nobody has stepped up in her place to keep a watchful eye. Bev's a tremendous asset, I'd say the biggest asset to this forum.

Will see you back on here shortly Bev. You'll be fine! That chocolate truffles book looks very interesting!

      Status Update

      Ok Everyone,

      Here's where things stand.

As Vince pointed out above, last night Bev was having chest pains so Rob took her to emergency services which resulted in having to hospitalize her this morning for over night observation. Rob stayed by her side throughout the night. She is expected to return home tomorrow.

The plan I have put together is coming along nicely. Albeit, intensely hectic.

As you might guess. When a thread takes off like this, a lot of things start happening behind the scenes. Especially when so many of you are wanting to show your support through product and services donations.

I can pretty much guarantee that Bev and Rob's eyes are filled with tears to see such an outpouring of respect and generosity. You truly find out who your friends are when life throws you a curve ball of this magnitude.

Here's a simplified look at what's happening behind the scenes and the logistics required to bring this to fruition:

Phase 1: Direct Donation Link- Complete
Phase 2: Donations for Product/Services Offering
      1. Collect and categorize the offerings to date-Complete
      2. Contact the list of benefactors for clarification of the offer. Products/Services- In Process
      3. Determine the best method of delivery of the donations-In Process
      4. Create Paypal payment buttons and test.-not started
      5. Create the sales page(s) and add the products with Paypal payment buttons-not started
      6. Create a secure download directory and upload those products that support digital downloads.-not started
      7. Test, test and test again to make sure that everything is working across platforms.-not started
      8. Post the good news here to this thread.-ongoing
That's not the whole process because there's a whole lot more to it then that. It's like creating a product launch on the fly.

As I'm only one person, I'm also trying to delegate pieces of this to volunteers that have generously offered to assist.

Vince and ileneg have been working their tales off to compile a very cool secret product. Bev, you're gonna love this! So will many of you. But I'm not going to let the cat out of the bag yet.

That's where things stand at this time.

It's been pointed out to me that we need to establish a goal and to be able to monitor the progress. That's also being worked but communications with Bev and Rob has been understandably sporadic. As soon as this benchmark can be set, I'll have posted here.

Know this... As all of you come here and give of yourselves, You are making a difference in some fine peoples life. I am humbled.

I would like to offer my support to you and your husband not just as another Brit but for the help you have shared over the last few years for many members here at the WF. You have shared so much great information here with new members and have helped so many people.

I wish you you all the best in the upcoming months to beat this illness. If I can help in any way please let me know your thoughts are in my prayers.

I just purchased her Mega PLR Diet package. I'm sure they can use all the money they can get. Bev's obviously not working and Rob has reportedly taken a lot of time off from his job to be with her.

Yeah, I was just asking because I know she had said that they had teams of writers and were doing things for some pretty big companies, earning at times a couple bucks a word, so I'm sure that they have some income. Unless they closed up shop?

I didn't know if there was a certain amount to be raised or if the goal was to get as much as possible.

Jeremy, I believe those questions were answered, But allow me to reiterate.

Bev became seriously ill back in March. The situation became bad enough that they had to move From Hong Kong back to England. Both her an Rob's businesses basically came to a screeching halt.

Over the past six months, Bev has spent much of her time in the hospital going through many diagnostic procedures. Rob, her devoted husband, has been by her side the whole way.

If you've never had your life assaulted by a serious health issue, then you would not know or understand the impact such an event can have on your life.

Unless you are running a well established business with a staff large enough to cover for you in such an event, your business stops.

To answer your second question. This thread began as a "For your information" post but rapidly became much more then that.

It wasn't started as a fundraiser, but because of the outpouring of requests from generous people wanting to be able to donate in the ways they wanted, it has evolved.

I'm working with Bev and Rob to establish a realistic target financial goal that would sustain them long enough to have a little breathing room from the financial stress.

Please feel free to contribute or donate if you would like to help them out.

That's a fair question, Jeremy. Bev's been out of commission all summer and Rob has had to devote most of his time to helping her. She first got sick in March and scaled back her workload as time went on, which would include managing other writer's work.

As for a specific goal, they are not the type to make one for their own charity. As far as I'm concerned, get as much as possible for them. This is not just a "bump" in their plans. This is a calamity.

              Sincerely,

Shoot, I think along with Donations someone should put in an option to allow people to donate on a monthly basis to the Bev Fund. I know things like this can take months and months to be able to beat. And what better way to help out than putting a little bit of one's earnings into the Bev fund each month.
Even if its just $5 a month I am sure that would help Bev and Rob. Matter of fact I am going to Pledge that right now !!!!

Of course giving any amount once or multiple times is good. Just whatever you can do helps !!

        Sounds like a great idea.

If 500 warriors sign up to donate $5/month that would be $2,500/month.

I received your PM and replied.

To all those that have donated products and/or services:

There's a bit of a bottleneck in attempting to get Paypal payment buttons created so those donations can be credited to Bev's account.

Communications are understandably sparse from Bev and Rob. I'm sure their plate is full just dealing with the day-to-day necessities. I ask everyone to be patient. This is a labor of love, not a sporting event.

I know marketers are some of the most hyperactive folks on the planet, and as such, tend to see any delays in action as a bad thing. This is one of those times when rushing to market just isn't going to happen. There are a LOT of logistics involved with this type of effort.

There are a few things that would be most helpful if you intend on donating products and/or services. I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but I must not have properly emphasized the importance. So I'll bring it forward again.

        Donation Guidelines
        (Except direct donations)

If you have already donated a product/service: (you know who you are)

Please supply the following information in a PM:
        1. A complete detailed description of the product/service being offered.
        2. Available quantity
        3. Suggested pricing
        4. Any graphics you may have (if any) for your product/service
        5. Any limitations on the product/service
        6. How you intend on delivering your product/service to the customer once they have purchased
Any offers of products/services that are general in nature (ie:"I might have something to offer"), although greatly appreciated, aren't very helpful in raising funds as I don't have enough time to ferret out what that means.

Direct donations are a surefire way of helping out. Here's the link:

Please Donate Here <=== (Click the link to Donate)

All future donations of products and/or services: (Please see guidelines above)

For all of you that have come to this thread to show your support, I am humbled and deeply appreciate your efforts. I believe it goes without saying, Bev and Rob share these feelings.

I have a finite amount of time I can lend to this project as I too have my own plate that needs to be managed. (Volunteers Welcome... hint hint) At the same time, It is my sincere desire to ensure this project stays on track and reaches a satisfying conclusion.

Until then, be healthy, be prosperous and be happy.

        Rich

    Hi to Bev,

You probably don't remember me but you were one of the very few that bought my WSO three or four years ago.

I'm 72 now and I've gone thru prostate cancer about five years ago. My wife has had both lung and breast cancer about 10 years ago. She had a double mastectomy.

We are both on Social Security and, unfortunately, not in a financial position to help.

However, I think I can do even better. Here is a link (non-affiliate) to a site about the benefits of raw foods. (rawfor30days.com/index4.html)The site says "diabetes" but according to Dr. Lorraine Day (www.drday.com/) and the experience my wife and I had, it will help with cancer as well. If you can get or make juice from green vegetables, that will help tremendously.

My family and I will keep you in our prayers. Keep your spirit up and don't stress (very bad for immune system).

      UPDATE: October 12, 2010

I just talked to both Bev and Rob over Skype and have the latest news for you.

Bev sounded like she was in good spirits. Her voice was clear, which is a marked improvement over the last time I talked with her. We talked about several things regarding her health and this thread.

She has began chemo-therapy treatment again. These treatments are very hard to go through and requires a considerable amount of recuperative
time which means she has to sleep a lot.

Bev, just informed me that the disease has spread into her liver and that she must undergo 17 weeks of chemotherapy.

They have not been able to visit this thread since last week and they were surprised and excited to learn that this thread has been so active.

Bev told me that she was going to try and get in here but couldn't say just when she'd feel up to it.

Fighting for your life is more than full time effort. Anyone that has been challenged with a life threatening illness knows this all too well.

      FUNDRAISING:

      Your donations have helped
tremendously and they wanted to let you know how much it has meant to them.

A GOAL OF $5,000 DOLLARSUS HAS BEEN SET

Because it's hard to aim for a target you can't see, as well as, seting a goal that is attainable, they have arrived at the sum of $5,000 in US currency or 3169.37£ to be set.

This is not a great deal of money, but it IS enough to help them turn the corner for awhile.

So, it is with great pleasure to report that to date, approximately $1,350 has been raised. Which means that we are over a quarter of the way there.

      Thank You everyone.

As for running a WSO for those products and services that have been donated, I was notified that we can not run a WSO which leaves two very viable alternatives.

#1: I was told that Classified Ad could be run, or
#2: an off site fundraiser page could be created and hosted on a domain.

If anyone has other suggestions or ideas, the table is wide open.

I have hosted domains that can be used without a problem. If any of you are great at building a fund raising page, PM me.

Speaking about PM's, to all those that I have been PMing with discussing some of the logistical issues, I believe that one of the most critical aspects may be solved. It looks like we will be able to move forward.

That's all for now. I will be contacting all of you by PM that have offered products and or services so we can nail down the particulars.

      Thanks all you Great Warriors,

      Rich

Classified Ads IMHO are restricted to the forum, or those who are advised/asked to visit the forum. A fundraiser page can (obviously) traverse the Internet. When I state the latter, I mean that individual Warriors can send the link to their lists and contacts, who might pass the links on. Albeit I appreciate that the same can be achieved by sending a link to a Classified WF ad but I can't see that having the impact of the latter though.

I think that the final decision rests with Bev and Rob, as to whether or not, they wish to keep things within the Warrior community.

      Just my personal thoughts,

      Jeff.

Hopefully, this will be resolved soon.

      Oh My God

I cant believe I didnt know about this. I am guessing Bev and Rob didnt tell me because of Mum and then having Megan.

For anyone who doesnt know Bev is amazing. Not only did she help me get over the hurdle of unlearning all the crxp you learn when you first start online, she helped me set up my first WSO, she was very involved in getting my money back when I got hugely scammed and she supported me every step of the way when I was losing my mum to breast cancer last September when she must have already felt very ill herself. She helped me simply because I asked for help back in 2008 on this forum - we hadnt met at that point.

Having met her and Rob I can only say that she is even nicer in person although she doesnt stand for any bullshxt in real life either lol

While it is fantastic that the WF has raised so much money so far to be honest I am sure it will turn into a lot more given everything that Bev did for so many of us. There are a lot of big names she helped out on their way to IM riches so I am sure that they just don't know the situation. I am guessing there are loads of people like me who have been away from the forums (3 young kids and forums dont mix), dont do facebook and simply don't know this sad news. I just wish I had the means to donate more but as people already said, if we all give a little something then we will get to $5000 much quicker.

Oh and the subscription donation button goes back to a 404 page when you finish in paypal but the money goes through so I am guessing it is working.

All my thoughts, prayers and best wishes are with you Bev and of course Rob. It isnt pleasant to watch someone you love go through Chemo etc.

      Lots of love

That's sad news. Bev's one of the more unpretentious people on this forum. I don't know her personally, but when I was a new I got a warning infraction from her as I didn't realize affiliate links weren't allowed in signatures, ha ha. I was mad until I realized it wasn't a big deal and was only a warning.

At first I thought the money was for medical expenses but as she's in England the donated money will be for living expenses? Is that right? Just want to be clear what people are donating towards.

Best wishes for Bev to recover.

Yep, they need living expenses. Both Bev and Rob are freelance writers. Rob's been devoting all his time to caring for Bev, who is greatly weakened by her illness. There are days when Bev can't even respond to a Skype message, much less bang out an ebook or report. Rob has to be there for her post-op recovery, chemo, etc.

Bev has not only saved many fellow Warriors from scammers, she's actually helped a few recover their money. She's also shared invaluable info on business planning for Internet Marketers, freelance writing and more. If there's anybody who deserves support, it's Bev and her husband Rob.

          All,
I was just talking with Bev over skype and while they're holding on - it is getting precarious. So far we've raised just 1500 toward the 5K goal.

Come on warriors - I know the economy sucks - that we've been called upon to help out others here in the last few months - but Bev has been a big part of this forum for many years - from being a mod to watching out for us against spammers to teaching us about writing and business processes.

Pancreatic cancer is very serious. Its why Bev and Rob moved back to the UK to be around family to help them out, and now unfortunately Bev's mum has had a severe stroke and the prognosis is not good.

Any help we can give will be greatly appreciated.

          respectfully,
          --Jack

    • As if things weren't bad enough for Bev and Rob, Bev's mother just had a major stroke. The poor woman is now completely cut off from the world -- can't see, is unresponsive to sound, touch, etc.

Folks, now is the time for you to step up and keep this fund-raising alive. Rich is overwhelmed with his own business and I'm heading out to visit family for a week. Ironically, my own father just had a stroke (mild, compared to Bev's mom) and is convalescing at home. He'll be 88 on November 7th!

Thank you Jack for stepping in to bring everyone recent news. I had not heard this news until now.

I must apologize for my absence and neglect from keeping you all updated. There have been some events on my end that have had to be resolved before I could get back here.

Suffice it to say, life is a constant battle of will and endurance and you never know when you will be called upon to be tested. Sometimes, to the very point of survival.

The intent of this thread has been to share the burden that the Clement's are facing among their friends and fellow Warriors. As Jack has pointed out, we are all painfully aware of the state of the economy.

"A grain of sand does not a beach make. Combine many grains and walk with delight along the shore."

There are few on this forum that have given as unselfishly as Bev. She did not ask for your help facing her battle. It was I who stepped up and took on the task of sharing her plight with those of you that would take the time to show your compassion and support. There should be no guilt or finger pointing if your financial situation isn't conducive to making a contribution.

It's about giving from the heart. Just remember this. No matter how bad you think your situation is, or how bad your day is going, there are those that are having a much harder go of it. Be grateful if your not counted among those.

Right now, the most effective way to help Bev and Rob is through either a donation, a reoccurring subscription or the purchase of one of their products.

Direct donations are a surefire way of helping out. Here's the link:

Please Donate Here <=== (Click the link to Donate)

As Jack also reported, about $1,500 dollars US or about 927£ BPS has been raised. So we're just over 25% of the $5,000 goal. So, give if you can and come back here often to show your respect and support.

You can refer back to this post for more options: Click Here

Great work Warriors. Keep it up. We can reach the goal together.

Last night with the TV on in the background I heard snippets of the news story about there being a possible vaccine for ALL KINDS of cancer maybe on the horizon.

At the time I didn't realize that it could help people who already have it.

Double good news in 24 hours.

I heard from Bev recently. She was hangin gin there and had almost reached the end of the current treatment series. She was encouraged that the treatments seemed to be helping.

I haven't looked up the last email while posting this - but as I recall Bev said there were plans for some tests this month (January) to see what effect the treatments have had.

I heard from Bev second week of February. She had just learn the scan results showed the treatments appeared to be working and showed "everything is shrinking". She had gained some weight back which is great.

Bev said she was beginning another round of chemo and after that will be evaluated again. Her messages to me are short and I know Rob is acting as her full time caregiver. It seems a good sign that her appetite has improved.

I have been away from the forum for awhile just popping in every so often and seen this thread which saddened me. Bev, my friend, you are in my prayers and I wish you the very best.

Just as an uplifter, I was with a woman for 10 years who beat cancer 3 times in her lifetime!

RIP my friend. This forum has lost a great Warrior. She fought a brave battle until the very end. My she finally be at peace. Her suffering has now ended but not before taking her with it...

I humbly Thank All of You who supported her and stood along side her throughout her brave battle.

Her husband Rob, faithfully stood by her each and every day attending to her needs and comfort. He told me moments ago on Skype that he is numb and at a loss attempting to cope with Bev's passing.

With deepest sympathy goes out to Rob and their families.
