Is PayPal the only way to pay to run a WSO?

Dear Allen Says or any other high ranking legend of the WF!

Seeing as I have fallen out of love with PayPal, is there any other way in which I can pay to run a WSO?

Thanks

Daniel

PayPal is like that really pretty girl you want to date but has a terrible attitude. You've got to ask yourself if you can tolerate it until something better comes along!

Sadly, PP is the most widely accepted now.

We Canadians lose 2% more if we decide to transfer our U.S. funds into Canadian. It;'s just a necessary evil.

Actually - I'm glad you asked this. I noticed in PP that I couldn't use my credit card when using PP to pay for a WSO. Does anyone know why this is?

There is nothing stopping you using an alternative PP such as AlertPay, 2CO etc, or even your own merchant account. Contrary to popular belief, PayPal is not the be all and end all.

The OP is about paying to run a WSO here on the Warrior Forum and as far as I know when it comes to paying Allen to run a WSO PayPal is the be all and end all.

Brad, do you mean as a way for you to receive payment for your WSO or are you paying Allen Says to run the WSO via 2CO?

You mean there is no other way to pay ecxept through PayPal? I need to pay to post in the WFH section; can't I pay via credit card?

You should be able to choose the don't have a paypal account, pay with your credit card option when you get to the paypal payment page.

Really? Right now, when I do a bank transfer of American $USD$, I end up getting $3 less on a $500 trans...

I don't see any other fees.. However, this exchange rate changing sucks.

Look more closely and you will see that PayPal's exchange rate is much different from the actual one. I only ever see it updated when it works in PayPal's favor.

It's this issue my accountant is trying to make me just open up an american account on my bank and deal only in american dollars since 83.9% or what ever of my business is done in American.

Paypal checkout normally gives you the choice of using PP OR Credit Card... messed up Allen would only give you one option. Maybe it was an issue of chargebacks from scummy "warriors"?

Wish Allen would jump in and tell us straight up.

We get chargebacks all the time. Maybe it works for some and not others. I don't know but it's definitely working for someone. Paypal specifically says the customer disputed the charge with their bank so I assume they used their card...

    I noticed that as well...

PayPal jacks my money semi-constantly... I don't pay bank fees right now, because I got a limited accounts (no fees AT ALL), as its a youth account deal.. So I don't want to open a USD account and have to deal with bank fees.

And if I did, I would be moving banks..

Sorry I misread the question thinking it was for accepting payments.

The thing is, if your card is associated to the paypal account, and that account is limited - then there is no other way?

Is there any chance WF could accept 2CO or moneybookers etc?
