Is it possible to turn any niche into profit?

Hello Warriors,

Many IM-ers advise choosing a niche which you would enjoy so that you could persist with it for a longer period of time. Well, I have some things I really enjoy, but I am not sure if I could make money with them.

So here's what I want to know: Is it possible to make money in just about any niche or are there some niches that just don't work?

Thanks!

My advice is go for it kumar, if you enjoy it you'll have a better time promoting it.

In my experience ANYTHING can be monetized. It is true that some niches do better than others, but in the end all have the potential to make you money.

Why not try to do both? Depending on your available time, you could work some niches that have proven to be profitable and alternate your work time with something you really enjoy.

The profitable niches may provide some financial reward for your time spent while building up a niche you enjoy.

Mm, this sounds like it *could* easily end up as an example of the classic business mistake - selling a product without a hungry market.

It can be very lonely and very frustrating.

      Cheers,

Can any niche be monetised?.. YES

Can any niche be monetised in a worthwhile manner and turn a healthy profit?.. NO

It all depends how much you want to take from it... and is your time better spent elsewhere... even the least profitable niches can be monetised with CPA or action profits.. but is it really worth your time?...

    That's for you to decide

    Peace

Thanks Jay. That's exactly what I wanted to ask, can any niche be profitable.

Don't choose a niche you enjoy. That is baloney. Choose a niche where the money is being made even if you know nothing about it. You can always outsource the writing or do your own research. What if what you love cannot be monetized? You can always use adsense, but that is not something you can live off with only one website.

With all due respect, that's baloney, too. What if the niche you enjoy does have a market?

My guess is that there is something that you can monetize. Maybe not the first thing you think of as something you enjoy, but I can almost guarantee that something you like to do can be monetized.

For example, maybe what you really like doing is collecting old-fashioned ironing boards. That's probably not going to be a huge money maker. But look at some of the other things you like to do. Do you like to eat? There's huge potentialthere.

So, while getmorebuyers has a point about following where the market leads, it's also wrong to completely discount a niche because you enjoy it.

      (Whew! Hope I made sense.)

I couldn't have said it better myself. There is always something that you enjoy that can be monetized and does have a hungry market.

People have a lot in common, if you enjoy something chances are there is a lot of people that enjoy it as well, therefore making it a hungry market.

Add the passion and the knowledge you have in the area to the mix and you got yourself a big money maker.

There is a guy making millions by literally selling shit, that has to tell you something.

Anything with a demand can be monetized into a gold mine, it all depends on how you approach it. Even if it doesnt' have a demand it still has potential, you just have to create the demand.

I mean seriously, back to the shit selling example, do you guys honestly believe there was a demand for shit and that there was a hungry market for purchasing shit?
