How to start incoming links.

I am finally done my website and want to start getting some incoming links. What would be the steps to follow? I was thinking:
1.Directories with directory maximizer
2.Articles with UAW
3.Social Bookmarking sites-any suggestions on what I can use

I want to start building around 10-20/day.

Is there anything I am missing that I should be doing? I want it to be well rounded and slowly build up to avoid getting sandboxed.

Also is there any other important steps that I am missing and does this look like a decent plan?

I greatly appreciate all the help I have gotten on here!

    Upload videos on Youtube...

    As far as directories go, make sure you're on DMOZ...

    Commit to submitting each post to a few good Social media spots

    a lot of my friends on each social site will repeat the things I post! More inbound traffic!

    Submit those posts to link directories and then submit the listings to the social media sites use different keywords tags and reviews for these listings then when you submitted the post pages. Keep at this. It will start to deliver good traffic

    Also find blogs that have relevant information that allow you to comment and list your site. Link to your posts. Don't spam leave good comments on the subject and you will see really nice results in back links forming.

    Create your own link directories, you can use wordpress and a good link directory plugin to create.

    Get the right setup and you can build hundreds of these type of directories on on install of Wordpress across as many domains as you want. This will generate great backlinks and it does work. keep everything relevant and you will see great success.

    Create content that's fresh, unique, and interesting, so that other people WANT to link to it. That way, you'll get a quality backlink, and people will be impressed enough with your knowledge that they'll visit your site to see what else you have to offer. It's the best of both worlds.

    And, as far as DMOZ goes, it can take a long time to get listed on there (I've heard horror stories of it taking months or more). My advice - apply, then forget about it.

    You may want to consider blog commenting. While not all blog links are "do follow" they can still be valuable if they're in the same niche. Of course when commenting on blogs make sure you're providing information of value on the original post.

      I would start with article marketing. UAW and Ezine articles are great for article distribution and building your links back to your site. Then you can use social bookmarking sites to bookmark your content, however I would use a social bookmarking exchange service like LavaLinx. Doing it this way spreads your social bookmarks over multiple ip's and doesn't look like you are just bookmarking your own content. Hope it works out for you.

    Find some decently ranked sites and offer to do a guest post. Make sure your grammar and spelling are spot on.
