Domain names and keywords

Hi Guys,

Here's a quick question for all you SEO experts out there.

With regards to using keywords in your domain names is there any milage in using more than one keyword i wish to target in the domain name itself.
For example
Lets say i am going after the following 2 keyword phrases
1-dog collars
2-dog leads

Can i go for a domain name that contains all of the above of just some.
Such as dogcollarsdogleads.com or dogcollarsleads.com, see what i'm getting at.

Look forward to your thoughts

    Hi Zimbizee,

Here is an example about how to get the most leverage from SEO and the domain name. It doesn't mean what you ask won't do some, even very good.

search terms: widget insurance, insurance widget
    Domain name: widgetinsurance.com
    Blog Title: Great Widget Insurance
Blog Post Title: How to get Great Widget Insurance
Line in first paragraph: It is not always easy, but you can get great widget insurance if you shop around a bit.
Line in the middle of the post: Here is another tip to help you get great widget insurance.
Line in final paragraph: Contact me for more information about how to get great widget insurance.

Link to ABC insurance company: For great widget insurance, click here now.(http://greatwidgetinsuranceaffiliatelinkcloakedhere.com)

Now, ask your self, how do you maximize 'insurance widget' in the same way?

I am not an SEO Guru. I am just someone who is sharing what I learned.
Less may produce acceptable results, but you want the most you can get.
If you can't get 'widgetinsurance.com' try to find a modifier that you can use in a sentence, such as greatwidgetinsurance.com.

    hope this helps
    Buck

PS don't forget that your return visitors may have to remember your site name. You could try getting dogleads.com and dogcollars.com and park one on the other. Two articles, one for leads and one for collars will create similar results.

If you want to be cleaver, create a php script that displays your lead article for dog leads when visitors come to leads.com and the other when they come to collars.com.

    Just some thoughts.
    Buck
