My facebook result so far. 137 clicks and 0 sales.

So i started to branch out to facebook after having success with social media on twitter.

After 3 days, i actually have 100+ clicks on my weight loss affiliate product with 0 conversion.

These people who clicked on my link are friends of my multiple accounts. They are targeted personnel who are desperate for weight loss solution.

Is the stats normal? I'm actually thinking to ram up the whole campaign if the conversion rate is 1/150 but it seems like it's not converting. To ram up the campaign i actually need to invest more on some software etc..

Have you sent any traffic to the offer from other sources? Does it convert there? Maybe the sales page or offer isn't converting for any traffic, not just FB.

I did quite a bit of advertising on FB a while back, and results were not that good.
Weightloss Ad : 485 clicks - zero sales
      FB Games Ad : 715 clicks - "
      Registry Repair : 641 clicks - "

I may be wrong but i don't think people on FB are there to buy.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

      Hi there,

Nope just traffic from fb alone. The sales page has high gravity in clickbank at 300+ and i went through the sales page. It's captivating.

      Hi,

Mine isn't paid advertisement. I'm using News Feed to advertise. It's strange that twitter people buy but not facebook.

WSO: I PROMISE/GUARANTEE you that this will be the LAST WSO you will ever need to purchase!

Here's the thing. The above may seem too good to be true but all I can say is there isn't even 1% hype or BS in the above sentence. This WILL BE YOUR LAST WSO to purchase.

i personally think cb products convert low. plus people on fb dont like to get hit with sales pages. build an audience, direct them to a blog and give them what they want.

i have over 3000 "friends" on what of my campaigns and are in regular contact with them and it barely converts at all. Im not sure why not because these are all people who have added me through various marketing efforts.

my best results was from click through links to a targetted audience. from this effort, 1 in 10 sign up!

higher end clickbank products wont convert too well. try something like low end products or cpa offers.

Using facebook I've had best results by sending the visitors to a blog with content on and preselling them the offer their.
    Hope that helps

  • First of all there other factors involved for getting conversions from a Facebook Fan Page and/or a website.
First of all don't forget that the world hasn't yet recovered from the global economical crisis and that means that buyers have to count every penny before spending it.
Secondly the market is saturated with products for weight loss, thus the challenge for convincing your customer that your product is more effective than other products on the market is much greater. Maybe the time has come to check out other niches?

I just blew some money on facebook ads this week. Tried promoting a product related to facebook games. Had 60 clicks and no sales, only 1 order form impression.

I pulled the plug after just 2 days. I figure I'm not gonna throw more money at a system I know very little about. Not when I have almost no money in the first place.
