Are you this kind of person?

Hello fellow warrior,

I've recently noticed a behaviour which kind of sickens me.

Imagine there's 2 types of product. 'A' being an awesome product and 'B' being a rehashed junk.

Assuming both products are to be sold on forums or social networks where people get to leave comments on it.

Here's the thing:
Product B is package nicely with professionally written sales page that triggers the emotional of buyers.
Product A isn't packaged as nicely as B and it's sales page is more of a description page of the product itself.

Since Product A is unbelievably good, it's sales page states just how good the product is. Now here's what happened most of the time.

Buyers purchase Product B, get disappointed but do not dare to sound out. And the sales keep coming.

However, people do not buy Product A because of the inferior sales page compared to Product B.

Now here's the shocking part. People start posting how product A can't be good, so on and so forth based on the inferior sales page without even having a look at Product A. No matter how good the product is.

On the contrary, people get Product B, feel really disappointed but do not dare to voice out because it would make them a fool for purchasing junk.

Are you this kind of person?

    Hey,

No I'm not this kind of person,

but I have no doubt that what
    you write is true.

    Presentation in the form

    of graphics and copy make
    a huge difference to people's
    perception.

    I have, however, bought

    inferior products that were
    well presented.

    Stephen

    P.S.
    Have you noticed recently
that the popular price point on
    clickbank is now around $27,
    after you click through the
    pop-under.

    Many of these products really

    are sub-standard, but they
    are helping people who promote
    them to build lists.

Will they be lists of repeat
    customers? Ultimately I think
    not!

      Yes Stephen, I noticed that.

Will they be lists of repeat customers? I think yes! When the next clickbank launch comes, the same customers will get them again. How many times have we seen people saying i've bought xx times of clickbank products and they are bullsh*t.

WSO: I PROMISE/GUARANTEE you that this will be the LAST WSO you will ever need to purchase!

Here's the thing. The above may seem too good to be true but all I can say is there isn't even 1% hype or BS in the above sentence. This WILL BE YOUR LAST WSO to purchase.

I recently posted on another forum about this exact thing. I called a 'spade' a 'spade'. I have to admit that I was worried about backlash from others but instead I actually had people PMing me and thanking me for speaking up (but in a tactful manner of course). The thing is, that was on a closed, private forum. I'm quite sure I would have got the backlash here on WF.

My point in the post I made was not so much about the crappy product, but rather a 'warning' if you will to the person who was promoting someone else's crappy product. It's very easy to have you're good reputation tarnished when you don't do your homework and actually review and try the product you want to help promote. Maybe some people don't care about that but I can guarantee you that they won't have any long term, quality subscribers on their list.

I can say that I have fallen into the trap of buying the crappy product with the good sales letter. However, I'm not ashamed of promptly asking for a refund when it cost me more than $10. If it's under that amount, I usually just chalk it up to experience and never buy that person's products again.

I wish more people would stand up and call people out on these types of things, but in a manner that provides constructive criticism so that they can improve in the future.

Having a crappy product is a thing but when it gets worse is when those crappy product are sold by affiliate who swear on how good the product is... I won't give any name but you know who they are you are receiving the same email...

In all honesty, nearly 95% of the "make money online" products on Clickbank are all rehashed and are presented with a different spin. A lot are also based on blind copy, where the sales letter tells you everything it's "not". I've made mistakes on buying products from blind copy to realize the garbage that was behind them. I really have slowed down on buying info products and have stuck to the things I truly need (certain pieces of automation software, content and other services).

I honestly don't believe there are many people like that out there. People who get sold junk usually don't have an issue with letting their opinion on the product be known.

The customers who just shrug their shoulders and move on are few and far between. Most will kick up a fuss if they didn't get what they were sold.

Product A's owner is not doing well because he's not packaged his product well. So, he will continue to lose sales because the internet is not like the real world where you always have the opportunity to look well before you leap. If I know how to reach him, I will tell him how good his product is and also how bad his sales copy is. I will tell those that I can possibly tell that this guy has got a good product though he's been a poor copywriter.

As for Product B's owner, If I could reach him, I will tell him how bad his product is and also congratulate him for being a good con artist. And I will promise him that I will never buy his product again. I will also tell as many people as I know that he is selling a sales copy, not a product.

Lesson learned: Never you underrate the power of copywriting.
