Submitting Approved Articles to Numerous Sites - Worthwhile?

I have someone who will submit 20 articles to 350 sites each for $120 or so.

I was going to use my ezine articles to do this.

The ezine articles are already published on EzineArticles.com and indexed by google.

Is it worthwhile to syndicate these 20 articles to the 350 sites?

I'd love you feedback,

thanks

It would be good for backlinks. Is that what your purpose is?

Unless you specifically want backlinks, for traffic you may be better off just submitting to the top 10 to 15 directories manually and submitting to various Web 2.0 sites.

Why not use something like isnare for $2 an article to do the submissions for you? Then all you'd need to do is submit it to ezinearticles.

$120 to submit to 350 sites sounds a little steap to me.. You are better off having control over what sites your artiles are submitted too..

Also keep in mind and I try to tell everyone this.. Auto Submitters will submit your articles to generic categories and not always the category you want or need. Only custopmized submission systems that allow configuration will submit to the actual sites real categories and not generic categories..

Does it make a big difference on actual categories vs generic categories ? Well yes it does because if you have an article based on "building backlinks to your website" and lets say you want to submit to ArticlesBase and use the category " Internet::Internet Marketing " which is one of their categories... But if the auto submitter only has "business" as a generic category then how well do you think your article is going to do under the wrong category ? Worse yet will it be approved ?

This is why I built a submission system with full configuration controls and it uses the actual sites categories.

Try to pick the top websites to send your articles to. See the response and then pick some more. Initially go a bit slow till you learn the nuances of this and then go on a large scale. I don't see any benefit in sending your articles to 350 sites and wait for the results.

hi i am a bit confused on this.
i heard people saying that google hates duplicate content and by submitting to too many directories with the same set of articles, do we actually benefit from this mass submission? and i heard that over time, google will start to de-indexed these duplicate copies on the net, thus eliminating all our efforts in submitting to so many sites.
also, people are saying that submitting to say 10-20 top authority articles directories will have more powerful backlinks then submitting to hundreds of other sub-standard directories. quality is better than quantity.
hmm can anyone share with me some insights on this?
what is the better way to do article marketing?
for me, i will just submit my main original article to ezine, then try to spin/ rewrite a few verisons off this main article, and submit them to the top 10-20 directories (some manually some using sofware).
is this good enough for backlinks?
or is "more is good" and try to submit to as many directories as possible, ignoring the so called "duplicate content" issue?

    so confused... lol..

Being totally mad I checked out some site on the list... most are just blogs... so I wonder what facilities do they have to automatically receive articles?

Personally, you should submit to your own "site" as well as to top article sites.

Personally I think the price is too hot for 20 articles. Not sure either of the benefit of the multitude of sites. You probably would be better off manually submitting your articles to the top 10 article directories as well as posting them on your blog if you have one. If you don't have a blog, you should because the search engines love them.

If the price were lower I would give it a shot but quantity does not always equal quality and what you want is quality backlinks to your site.

Just my 2 cents. Good Luck.

So are you guys saying that $6 to submit 1 article to 325 sites is a ripoff?

What 325 websites are they ? Just because someone says we will submit you to 1,000 sites does not mean you will get better results..

Years ago you used to see many trying to push that "We submit your website to 300,000 directories, 10,000 search engines, 100,000 classified ads" and we only charge $10 .. Ok well so what it is uselessbecause what they failed to say is most oftheir directories and search engines as they called them wasnothingmore than useless FFA Link Pages...

So again what sites ? You are better off choosing your own sites and setting up your own submission.. This is exactly why I built my system with member configuration controls...

Ok well I dont see much use of spending much time but let me prove my point...

      Their generic categories
      1) Advertising
      2) Art and Entertainment
      3) Automotive
      4) Business
      5) Careers
      6) Computer
      7) Education
      8) Finance
      9) Food and Beverage
      10) Health
      11) Hobbies
      12) Home and Family
      13) Home Improvement
      14) Internet
      15) Law
      16) Marketing
      17) News and Society
      18) Relationships
      19) Self Improvement
      20) Shopping
      21) Spirituality
      22) Sports and Fitness
      23) Technology
      24) Travel
      25) Writing

The 4th directory on their list:
      Article Search Engine Directory: GoArticles.com

Problem is GoArticles has Category + Sub-Category and not generic categories. So when you submit you will either be slapped in the wrong category or the submission will fail.

      The 2nd on thier list:
Free Articles at Amazines.Com - Author Publishing and Free Article Database

When you login and go to submit it has 3 categories to select, so same as goarticles above.. You will either be slapped in the wrong category or the submission will fail.

I dont think I need to go any further...

As I said when you join a real site that actually cares about the tools and services that are offered to members it makes a huge difference. My site (in my sig) does have submission service and unlike any other submission service it has full configuration controls that will allow you to submit to that sites categories or sub categories..

i think your better off investing in an article submission program. The $120 is about the cost of a service where you can post to over 400 article directories. I use article submission software and it dramatically increases the number of backlinks i get and it saves me lot of time and money!

    Cheers
