Uploading RSS feeds to your site to submit them to RSS directories? - Advice?

Anyone knows how to upload rss/xml files to your site so then you can submit each combined RSS feed to rss directories, so my site would have something like: http://mysite.com/rss.453454.xml? Thank you!

Well, I know there are ways to incorporate feeds into your site, but if I don't have an RSS feed from a website I use html2rss dot com which does the trick. You can also use yahoo pipes to create a feed or mash feeds from other sources such as your static web site, a video or two from another site and a few articles. Mash those into one feed and walla you have a very strong feed.

Well Giles you are right about the html site. It does place a link below yours and I haven't really cared for it but I still get good rankings off and traffic off my feeds since my sites are of quality. I will definitely check out what you have posted as an alternative.

You need to "mash" your RSS pheeds, which simply means to combine multiple RSS pheeds into a single one.

I do that stuff in my private forum. You can also use Yahoo Pipes, feedburner, etc.

There's plenty of free videos at Youtube that will show you how to mash a pheed using Yahoo Pipes...Here's one, I didn't watch it, but check it out (or another):

You can get a free Yahoo pipes account here:

If you want to install a script on your own site to handle this, see the WSO in my sig.

You FTP/upload them just like you would any other html, php, txt, cgi, jpg, gif file. Then access them in your browser/link to them just like you would any other file.

Let me add for others...You don't need a blog or a web design program to create an RSS pheed, and the pheed doesn't have to be "attached" to a blog or page. And the content of the RSS items can link to any site/page you want.

Make one in notepad, upload it and sumbit it...My favorite linking strategy.
