Aweber confirmation emails end up in junkmail?

Was doing swaps yesterday and today and joined my adswap partners' lists.

After signing up to both lists noticed how the confirmation emails always end up
in Junk folder in hotmail... Both guys are with Aweber

Have you noticed that lately?

Contacting support now....

Is it possible this is a problem because of the way some email accounts could be configured and not really an auto responder problem? The email account providers could have tweaked something behind the scenes.

I have both AOL and Gmail. For the last 5-6 months, I've noticed that the AOL account has mail that all of a sudden goes into spam that would normally show up in the regular listing. Gmail so far has been pretty good with regular mail going where it's supposed to be, but now I always check spam folders on every account.

Please don't rely on my experience with the Gmail because I don't get a lot of mail on that account, so perhaps it could be a different story for someone else.

I assume that it's Aweber support that you are contacting. If not, then explain what has happened to both of your friends (who have the Aweber accounts) and suggest that they contact Aweber individually.

The autoresponder (AR) provider still needs to be made aware of the problem, regardless of which AR service is being used, or individual configurations made by recipient email accounts. Keeping the ARs informed of delivery problems helps them sort things out with the various email clients, to the benefit of all AR users.

        Just my thoughts,

        Jeff.

No matter what, some will end up in junk. 2 out of ? does not a trend make. They're % is a lot higher than some companies I won't mention that cost a LOT more.

But doesn't hurt to call and check.

Some spam controls are also set up w/ certain keywords. I know mine is. I don't care if that email is coming from the Vatican, - My wife does NOT need another 4 inches thank you!

Happening to me too. I'm noticing a lot more last messages getting stuck at the "confirmation" message. Not sure if their not getting the messages because it's being marked as SPAM/Junk or people just not choosing to confirm now a days.

Every single mail I get via aweber ends up in my spam. I dont really care that much, since I go through my spam anyway as a matter of course.

However, it did help me choose between Aweber and GetResponse as my primary autoresponder.

I got a canned response from the team blaming it on my ISP, don't think they read
the message carefully, since confirmation emails were being sent to hotmail.com not myname@isp.com

referred them to this thread hopefully they'll address it a bit better
