How can I use facebook to grow my blog???

Warriors..

If you're using Facebook Marketing as a way to grow your blog audience,
would you share some of what you're doing with us..??

I'd really appreciate it.. I wrote a post on it since I've gotten some good results from it,
but I'm not Facebook GURU or anything.. :rolleyes:

You can use it for anythin you want, but let's do brief explanation how you can use facebook marketing to grow your blog (audience / ur blog itself).

You can link your facebook and blogs via RSS and as you update your blogs (writing new posts, etc) your facebook will also be notified automatically. That's auto 'posting' with facebook right?

Start creating a custom fan page and attract more users. Facebook has 20 million people who use fan pages atleast 1x times a day. So better focus on designing a fan page and promoting your product!

  In addition, add the important keywords to your link whenever you share it. Cos this will add to the interest groups main page. ie. if you share a link that says, "hey, I want to share some free stuff for those who are interested in the "law of attraction". If there are interest groups related to law of attraction, the link will also be "pasted" to the "wall" of that interest group.

Step

1) create a facebook fanpage with same title as blog
2) mass add your friends to it to establish a base. I have video instructions on my facebook fan page. PM me if you want the vid.
3) go to fiverr.com and use some of the offers to mass invite. Only use one offer at a time until the goals are hit.
4) ensure your blog and Twitter are linked to your facebook group (posts from blog and Twitter are showing up on facebook)
5) create opt in page on facebook group in a different tab.
6) end each post with a link to your blog, invitation to opt in for more info like this..
7) use plugins to allow fb comments on your blog instead of blog comments.

That should give you a decent base.
This blog you're developing had better be one that highlights your personal brand, and not so random product pitching place.

Once you have some good movement, buy your way to 5000+ members and continue the process. It's a really rudimentary version of what I do now, but it's a start . If you want good targeted Facebook fans (to purchase) pm me on that as well.

Add many people with similar interests as friends and start updating about your blogs automatically by rss linking. Create a attractive fanpage and explore your network.. Do write the blogs with freah and attractive titles (hot topics) to attract more people..

Remember that the main key to be successful in social media marketing is to share. For your site since you’re using Facebook marketing, you can share your link every time you have updated your blog. Make sure to place your blog’s site on your info page for easy access.

But remember that what you’re promoting is your blog so make sure to keep it updated. In fact, lots of successful bloggers would update their site hourly. Just make sure to update your readers so you’ll keep them coming back to your site.

  I also added facebook plugins and allowed others to post as commentators. I just started the get traffic training on facebook. There will be 1billion users in facebook soon that's an additional 500 Million.

Add 5000 friends in your profile, create fanpage and invite them to follow then most of them will like your fanpage and it will spread virally.

Also don't create sales ads create ads that will invite people to ur fan page it's in ur fanpage u have ur optin for selling

Hi Hecman,

Here is a plan that will actually work!

First create a fanpage as mentioned previously. Next go to NetworkedBlogs | Facebook and get the app. Your blog posts will then automatically syndicate to your fanpage and facebook profile, saving you the time of adding content.

Next, why not top this off by creating a dedicated Twitter account for your blog, then using twitterfeed.com : feed your blog to twitter to post your titles and links to your Twitter profile.

If you really want to know the powerful ways to market on facebook, you better read posts on my blog.. Really... I am not joking at all. Forget fan page and all that stuff you been taught.. Just check it out..

Installing a Facebook "like" button into my blogs has been a great way for me to pick up additional free traffic.

If you are running a Wordpress blog I recommend using the "WP FB Like" plugin.
