I started up a new account with flicker last month and linked back to my blog randomly. I just took pics of things around town with my I-phone and uploaded evry day and the traffic to my blog Tripled.

This so has me inspired. Have any of you seen the same results from flicker?

I treat Flickr like a community.

      1. The tags I use to label and describe my photos are from my key word list.

      2. I use flickr to promote my blog by using the web site address as my flickr screen name, my screen name is attached to every photo I upload

      3. I do uploading high quality images from my I-phone

      4. I join groups so i can comment on other flickr photos

There's a great Wordpress plugin called Slickr Flickr that links your Flickr account to your blog and displays any and all images that you upload to Flickr - make sure you tag and describe your pictures well!

I had to thank you, at first I didn't see that it would be worth the time as I probably won't get targeted visitors but I thought of a twist that could work and possibly bring traffic that could be interested in my services.

I'm going to set up a Flickr account right now.

I'd deficiently try it I have fond it to be very indirect Joe. Hop on it and give it a test and if it dose not work you have nothing to loose. I'm still getting traffic from it.

Like the op I discovered accidentally that Flickr led a lot of traffic to my (personal, not work-related) blog. Flickr say they will close accounts for linking to business stuff, but I don't know how much they implement that.

Try to tweak your results a bit, see if you can get an even better improvement... and then you might even have set up yourself a product you can give others.

Looks like this has some nice potential!
One can never have too many ways of driving traffic, and as with most things, the more creative you get the greater the possibilities.
      Thanks for sharing!

ofcourse it is very Easy to generate traffic with Pics (Flicker / Instagram / Picasa etc)
there are also many Services to submit them all
But the main thing in Traffic is to get Targeted Traffic
Doen Pics for "Around Town" do sent Targeted Traffic? Does it Increase Sales? Does it Increase the ROI?
