Look HERE. People gave you some pretty good advice. I think there is plenty of ammunition there to help you find what YOU are passionate about and that is profitable.

Go with something people emotionally need

    >fix credit
    >acne
    >foot fungus
    >back pain
    >arthritus
    >ringing in ears
    >make money
    >find a soulmate
    >stop forclosure
    >get ex back
    >confidence
    >male enhancement
    >natural sexual related disease treament
    >growing taller
    >nee pain
    >getting buff
    >rapid weight loss
    >have an affair
    >dealing with misbehaved kids
    >depression
    >spirituality

There are tons of things. You could even get in to a more specific niche of these niches like

    "dealing with misbehaved kids"

but do it on dealing with

"dealing with misbehaved kids that skip school" or

    talk back or

    do specific drugs

the ideas are endless just be creative...

If you like martial arts, I believe mixed martial arts (MMA) are really big right now. I can't go anywhere anymore without seeing "Tapout" T-shirts, ads, TV shows, etc. for MMA. I'd look for things you could promote in that category. Maybe build a blog around MMA, post AdSense on it and look for affiliate products to post about. Then write some articles (as articles for MMA are in high demand) and link them back to your blog.

Or create a website, if you really believe in the niche. Otherwise, a free blog won't cost you much. You can get a real website later on if you enjoy the niche and it brings you a good return.

      Just an idea.

You will be more successful in a niche where people are trying to solve a problem rather than you trying to improve their lives...

...like if you title your product How To Cure Depression, it will sell more than a product called How To Be Happier, because the first one cures an already existing problem...

Sometimes when I'm on forums I can get an idea from what others are talking about, thanks for the martial arts idea, now i'm going to see how viable it is. By the way martial arts is a sector not a niche, a niche would be...(fill in the blank)

All right, if you want a niche, think like "Brazilian Jiu Jitsu" or a subset of the MMA sector. But you're supposed to pick the one that interests you - I don't know what that is since I don't know you.

Haha, lucky guess, I guess. It's the first one that came to mind, aside from plain old submission grappling.

theres not much money in the martial arts niche.

clickbank got some good selling language products.

if you like making money, go read around this forum for some quick methods, try it, come up with your own "better" version, write it, and sell it.

Flesh out the Mixed Martial arts idea - it's popular although there may not be much from ClickBank - check out CPA offers related to it, ebay auctions, etc. Think outside of the box!

Plus, with the MMA niche, you can work on the "problems people have" complex that others have mentioned. You can work in countless fitness products, which I'm sure Clickbank has many of.

Well, the language one can be good if you really work at it - otherwise, it had just lukewarm success for me.

And with the make money one, you'd better be happy with a "small piece of the big pie," as they say. I know a lot of people can really kill it in that niche, but the OP would definitely need to find or create a product to promote that stood out as a genuinely successful one.

So out of his three niches ideas, I figured he might at least be able to enjoy the MMA one, and if he has an interest in it, that's better than marketing something you absolutely don't believe in.

haha - I think we have a winner here!

Seriously, you can make good money in any one of those niches. So now it is up to you. You must decide. Just like you are in the middle of a fight - there might be 3 different moves you can try, but you have to decide and excute - like fast - you can't just stand there - or you'll get a cro cop kick to the face.

Since you can make money in any of those niches, go for the one you are most passionate about. If you are equally passionate about all of them, go for the one that you have the most knowledge/experience in - this will help you make money and build a following faster.

Also, its not as big of deal as you think. Time moves quick. You can expand to the other niches once you reach success in one.

I think that the languages thing could be a good place. There are lots of problems that people would like to overcome. There are lots of products you could be an affiliate for - rosetta stone comes to mind. Those are like $500 at amazon. So, you could create a blog that helps in all sorts of ways - people who want to teach their kids. People who are relocating... Whatever... Just make sure to really niche it down. You want to help ONE kind of person. The person who is in X situation. Once you are getting traction there, then you can create another site to help person y (or another part of the same site)... Bottom line, visualize the customer first. Then create the content for them.

There's also the Rocket Language options at Clickbank - Rosetta is sometimes finicky about accepting new affiliates. Rocket isn't.

Ok Mivka, how about martial arts weapons? see if any suppliers do affiliate programs, do some keyword research, find a good domain and there you go, here in the UK we go more for products than ebooks, tried to post a merchant but I don't have enough posts. amas.net

Since you are into martial arts, you can try to discuss about MMA and UFC. Apparel and other MMA-related sites are also good options for you while discussing about the martial arts. In terms of money making, you already have a list above that you can try on.

MMA fitness is becoming a huge field, as MMA itself gets bigger. Markets well to MMA participants, MMA fanatics, fitness junkies who are looking for a new challenge, and even to overweight slobs who see crazy-ripped fighters and start dreaming. Content and sales pitching should be easy if you're really passionate, and there's no shortage of stock photos to load up a site or two with.

There's lots of affiliate options, or there's always the option of creating your own product...which, in this field, isn't difficult, so long as you can get photos or videos showing exercises. Pick your favorite exercises, put them together in a grueling way, and voila! Infoproduct.

As you listbuild, you can even cross promote semi-related stuff like Tacfit, etc.

If you are going with something to stick with long term go big! The bigger the niche the more money flows into it. If you are only picking one niche pick a really big one!

It will take you time to get a position and sales in a big niche but it can be done. It just takes time, effort and consistency.

If you just want a hobby, stick with something you find yourself spending a lot of time doing.

If you choose a big niche start out with a sub-sub-section of that niche and built up to the larger niche.

    Good Luck
