Hi

Can anyone give me any suggestions please? I have made lots of short video tutorials and uploaded them to You Tube. I'm thinking now that I could 'bundle' a few of these and sell them, they are good content and I know that people just coming into the industry would welcome them. When I made them it was from a baseline of "what confused me the most at first" - I've never put together an info product and would love to start doing some.

I've been told that if they're up there on You Tube then I can't use those to sell. So I would need to redo them and just do something slightly different with each from those that are uploaded. I also believe I need a stand-alone website, video hosting and then sell.

Are there any experienced 'info product' marketers who could sort of guide me through the process in a step-by-step way. Any help, however small would really be welcome guys.

Thanks very much

Trish:confused:

You might want to post in the Joint Ventures section. Time and information is valuable, many will want their fair share.

    Good luck to you!

Thank you Ken, can I ask what you mean by 'time is valuable' and they will want their fair share. Do you mean if someone guides me?

Sorry, I'm not being rude; I'm just not sure what it means.

Thanks for taking the time though to come back to me

Quite often when people have video programs to sell they offer a few for free so that people can see the quality and value in them. Suppose you had 12 videos. You could begin an article marketing campaign. Write as many articles as you can in your niche and submit them to ezinearticles and other directories. In your resource box at the end of your articles you could say something like...

Get 3 free training videos on xxxxxxxx here.

When people click on your link have a page set up (a squeeze page) where you ask people to give their name and email address to get access to your free videos. That way, you begin growing a list of potential customers.

You can set up your auto-responder so that when people confirm to join your list they get an email with a link to your page where the three free videos are.

Give them the free videos and have an ad on that page where they can click to order the entire set of videos for whatever price you set.

You can get an auto-responder account that allows you to collect names and email info for about $20 a month from aweber or getresponse. Then you can send out emails to your list promoting your product or the producs of others you promote as an affiliate.

You need a domain name for your site. You can use namecheap.com and get one for under $10. You need web hosting which you can get at hostgator.com for $4.95 a month. You need web hosting so you can create your web page and squeeze page and host them there. You can also host your videos there if you wish--you can also host your videos at video hosting sites.

You need to be able to create your web site to promote the videos. You can do it yourself if you have the know-how, or hire someone to create it for you. You can buy something like Dreamweaver to create web pages or you can search online for free HTML editors.

You probably want to get a cover graphic produced for your video product. There are many people here on the WF that will create great looking product images for $20 or less.

I'm sure your product is terrific, but really--it's your sales page and squeeze page that make the money for you. They have to be able to convert.

There's a little bit of stuff, hope it helps a tiny bit. --Mike

If you have some good quality videos showing how to do things beginners need to know you can sell them or even better, sell the videos with Resale Rights or PLR. You can get more money out of them and a lot of other marketers with list would be interested in selling them because they don't have the time or desire to make them on their own.

Trish, if you need to know how to sell downloadable products with free software, you could do worse than to check out the first video of my training course. You don't even need to sign up to my mailing list to access it:

      The 4-Hour E-Commerce Site Training Webinars | davtom.net

You need about 8 hours to view all of the content, but you can get an e-commerce website up-and-running using Wordpress and eShop plugin after having seen the first video. It explains how to get hosting and a domain name if you need that information.

Mike has good advice here - use the videos you have now to give away when you launch your product. It is almost just as important to give away quality free content as paid content these days.

Here is a little list of some of things you will want to have in place to start selling your info products:

        1. Domain name
        2. Web hosting
        3. Website (with sales page)
        4. Email system (i.e. aweber) (to follow up with prospects and customers)
        5. Payment processor (i.e. Clickbank)
        6. Members area (or protected page to give customers their information)
        7. Traffic

There is a launch going on right now for a software product called Kajabi that makes it real easy to create your info product release platform. It would include all the little things you need (except the traffic of course). I would also recommend getting some guidance from people that have already built successful businesses. I can highly recommend the internet income academy for solid training on building your online business. I also liked Ebens course called Guru Method.
