I've hired people from the Philippines but for what you described I would try to find someone who is already on your list/customer/forum.

Make a list of folks who are very active in your coaching forum. Folks who are helpful and contributing to your forum. Approach them and go from there. It might not work out but it's worth a shot.

Send an email to your list just like you did right here and see if anyone replies with interest.

You should be able to find someone you can trust and is ready to go if you already know them and they know your business vs. starting from scratch looking for someone on odesk or bestjobs.ph etc.

And remember they're an independent contractor not employee.

I suggest you start close, then work your way out...I'm sure there's a kid or two at your school that might work out. At least that's the first place to look, IMO.

You may also want to look into getting a prepaid credit card from a company like green dot or futura.

why not simply ask your parents to borrow their credit card? I am sure they are quite aware of your success, and would not mind doing that.

Try to post "hiring" in one of the well known advertising websites like craigslist. I am sure somebody will apply for that position.

I have had some great work done by folks on odesk they are pretty good there. But beware of who you pick. Really try to get a good handle on them B4 you jump in the deep end. I hired a writer from the US with totally awesome feedback but after 2 articles she has vanished from the face of the earth..

So just be cautious - I recomend odesk and the Philippine work force great ethics and really keen

If you need a good VA you might want to check out Warrior Katie Rich she is a professional VA View Profile: Katie Rich I think it is pretty cool at 16 your looking for a VA I would not recommend going over seas to the philippines or whatever.

As one member mentioned try if you can to grab someone from your coaching who is quite active and have them do some of the support etc..

I had hired 2 VA's from them before. One of them is quite good the other is mediocre. But you can always try as they offer cheap rates

You can definitely find some very talented Filipinos who can handle all of this, but you need to make sure you make it very clear what hours of the day you need them to work.

"Help me", "Assist me", "Respond to customers", could all be time of day sensitive jobs.

Those of us sitting on the opposite side of the world are 12 hours off of EST. Depending on where your client base is, you may be needing your overseas assistant to work at night.
