Social Network Marketing.... Digger? What is it?

We both know that the social network marketing tactic is well worth the effort of time put into getting traffic. We made a post a couple of weeks ago asking fellow marketers which was the better social network to use..... Facebook or Twitter. We received many replies that were very useful and is proven that they do make a big marketing impact. On a few of the comments and through reading other similar posts we saw people commenting on a social site called digger. What is digger? We have never heard of it and didn't know if this was for internet marketers. And does it stand up to Facebook and Twitter and get as much traffic?

Thanks for your 2 pennies!

Are you talking about Digg? If you are, it's a social news site and getting on the front page will bring so much traffic to your site, if you don't have throttle and cache, your site will crash...

But chances are, you'll never get close to the front page without a ton of friends digging for you and some unbelievable content, or possibly some sort of news scoop.

Digg version 4 is useless. It's now a glorified RSS reader.

Digg is all about social media news, user comes here and they post news and other content to relevant category to users but if you are talking about website promotion they have changed the old version of digg and now it not for promotion.

Digg doesn't stand up with Facebook and twitter, IMO-- because we all know that they're both still on top for SEO.

Yup, it’s Digg. This is another site that will help you get better income online. In fact, several news of people who are able to reach the first pages are able to get boosted traffic for business. You can use this as an additional tool for social networking and distributing your links.
