XSP 2 has bugs in it.

Close your website and open it again. Also the WYSIWYG
editor is unreliable - or doen't produce any HTML - so
always do your writing on a word processor and transfer
into XSP for formatting - actually XSP makes messy HTML.

You've actually made sub-pages here but that's similar to
making a top-level page. If the site continues to give you
problems, scrap it and build a new one with the same
content. You may have a corrupted copy of XSP too.

It's an easy software to use for the power it gives you so
stick with it. Like a lot of complicated machines it's a
    little finicky.

    Hi Deb,

I've never seen that error before. I can't see any obvious error on your part.

I would check the source code of the homepage (source tab) make sure thee are no codes in there.

Next I would save and close. The re-open.

Failing that install microsoft net 2 :

Download details: .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86)

Then failing that I would save your templates and uninstall and re-install xsp.

Contact support if you need to.

      Hey Chris,

Yes, I updated from within the software and support sent me a link...I updated from there too...but now when I open the software I still get the errors....

It also wiped out all my pages....so the little bit of text the video shows is gone now...

      weird...

I am going to uninstall the software and then reinstall.

I won't have a problem with the uninstall...but not sure where I will find a link to re-install. I kept my download page but it no longer works...

I have the install wizard still on my desktop...I am going to try it...

      shoot...any advise would be great...

I am a huge fan of xsitepro but it is dissapointing that Xsitepro2 is still kinda buggy. It is still a great program and the quickest way to build a website.
To avoid having problems- install the template first(if you are making your own then add the images to the page layout tab first) and then add the home page, tick the box for- make this my home page and save your site before doing anything else. Your site could bug out if you forget to tick- make this my homepage box. Then add another page and get your website working properly before you do any more work on your site. If xsitepro starts going buggy, it is often best to delete the whole site and start again. Sometimes it helps to give the site a new name, and rename the images before you start again.
If you need to change your template later on, save a copy of your website first in case the template change goes wrong.
The good news is that most of the bugs will appear within the first 5 mins of building your site, so just delete it and start again. I have never had any buggy problems with xsitepro sites once I have got them working properly.
        Good luck Deb!

In the page settings tab for the new page - are you listing it as a subpage of the home page?

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.
