They would accept payments because if you fail to provide the necessary info, they will keep the cash.It is better you verify your account.

They say they don't have enough information about you and your business... Hmm? Maybe you should call them, and provide the information that they need. I've heard this tale before, it just means they need to verify you are who you say you are. Give them a call, and they'll ask you to e-mail them something etc.

Yes - send them the documents they ask for and you should have no problem.

This not a big deal. You have a bid deal on your hands when they completely close down your account, keep all the funds and don't offer an appeals process.

no need of accept payments in limited paypal account, because now even if you submit your information / document proofs they will allow you to withdraw your money only after 180 days.
Open a new paypal account in your family name and accept new payments in it.

Don't quote me on this... But I think the only time this would happen is in the case, that your account has been closed, or in paypal terms "they end there relationship with you".

If your account is just limited, a flag probably came up for them on some of your transactions. They usually want shipping information for sold products, which can be a paid to explain to them if you sell digital products.

I had my paypal account "limited" for about a month once. My account got flagged because I tried to attach a bank account to my paypal account that wasn't really a bank account. It was a Netspend debit card - Netspend tells me to use this bank account info and I can send a deposit from paypal to Netspend, so I registered that bank account and got "limited" about two or three days later.

Even though that ended up being a silly reason to limit my account and I was able to clear up the bank account issue on the first day, so they started asking for information in any other area they could think of.

Bottom line, I ended up having to have past payments manually verified by the person who paid me (to verify they received my product). I ended up making close to 10 different phone calls to paypal to get that issue cleared up. They will clear it up if you jump through their hoops, assuming you didn't actually do something wrong - they just may take their dear sweet time about it. I routinely had to call them back to address them same issue over and over and over again.

Best of luck to you - I certainly feel your pain.

I think its different for every case. IMHO PayPal doesn't use human power to monitor all the accounts. They have like super powerful computers that do data mining day and night, and when suspicious transactions occur, the account will be flagged and automatically limited.

In my case I sent them an email, the limit was lifted the next day.
