Question about making simple website about myself - for applying to CPA nets

Hello,

I'm going to make a simple site about myself - marketing skills, background, etc so that I have something to submit when applying to CPA networks.

So can I just make up a name for me/the site (like elitewebmarketing.com or something)? Or is that something you would have to register or get rights reserved for an "official" business?

Basically I'd rather call the site some type of marketing name rather than using my real name...

thanks!

If it's just a bio site, you can do that without having a registered business. Just buy the domain and do it.

Make sure the domain isn't infringing upon anyone elses trademarks or whatever though (which most wont be, unless it's an obvious brand).

Thanks for the reply. Do you know of a bio site I could take a look at for reference?
I'm going to put down skills and qualifications, but I'm assuming I can't say things like "this is what we can do for you" or "we can help you to maximize your ROI" because that would indicate I'm a business looking for clients?

Just make a corporate looking website. Add some content and apply.

Ok thanks - so I can say that I'm blahblahmarketing.com and that I have offer Paid Search, SEO, Media Buying, etc without being an actual registered business?

You don't need to have a license for a "corporate" site. The networks want a well put together site, a business site. Making it too personal may not be what they are looking for. I've submitted many niche sites to them and always got accepted, even when the site was brand new. The sites I use look good (professional) and have plenty of content and a few ads placed on them.
