INTERNET MARKETING

OK, I am trying to kick up my niche blogs with PPC, adwords specifically. I actually have lots of experience with adwords so I think I know everything

Just in case, though, I wanted some opinions on which book/ebook/course on adwords worked the best for you. I want to make sure I know as much as I can before I start the process again in earnest. Thanks everyone.

  My personal fave is Beating Adwords - I've also heard great things about adwords miracle by Chris "x" Mcneeny, but I haven't read it so can't personally comment.

I think you need a tracking system more than another Adwords guide. A tracking system that can tell you exactly which keyword converts and which others that you need to dump.

  Definitive Guide To Adwords Perry Marshall. I have been reading it and it has been making a difference in my campaigns. Granted I was a complete noobie to PPC when I started, either way it is the one I see recommend here the most and is working for me.

  There used to a product called Adwords Black book which is no longer available. It was said to be very good.
  
  But from the current bunch you can try
  
  The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords - Perrry Marshal
  Adwords Miracle - Chris
  Beating Adwords - Kyle & Carson
  
  Perry also has an advanced book for Adwords.

  I second Sylvia's recommendation on Perry Marshall's book. He is the authority on AdWords plus PPC is his bread and butter as a consultant for his own business so he can walk the talk.

  I've read all of the above and all are good - I guess if you were to invest in one only then Perry Marshall's or Adwords Miracle would be the best but I've probably read 20+ adwords books and picked up something from nearly all of them. I've tried PPC with niche blogs though and they aren't the best landing page you could be using - a one page review usually works alot better for me.

  Thanks Martin, that is actually a very useful observation. So do others think the same? Do you think a well converting niche blog is a bad match for PPC? Opinions anyone?

  Adwords miracle and the Perry Marshall book are good STARTING grounds.
  
  I do a lot of ppc work, and i can tell you that many of the techniques and strategies outlined in both are often extremely hard pressed to get working.
  
  The most important thing you can learn with PPC are the little tricks to keeping your cost down, and how to deal with competition, and the best way to do that is practice.
  
  Try a variety of niches, keep your groups seperate and relevant, and don't be afraid to lose a ton of money. That's real world advice.
