Online Pharmacy Affiliate Marketing

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried doing this. I was doing contacting some online pharmacies because I recently purchased a website that was formly a online pharmacy (according to the time maching on alexa) which was probably why it was good source of traffic when it was previously active.

I was either going to try to try that out or just sell the website as a whole, 550 preset backlinks according to alexa and was created in 2003. Hmmmm...

To me, I don't think I will ever want to buy my drugs online. Why? It's a matter of life and death.

Good luck if you really know what you are doing and how to go about it.

Well yes common sense tells that you shouldn't buy from online oversea pharmacies, kind of like how those "win a free iphone" websites...it probably not be a good idea to enter in you SSN (Obviously pharmaceutical drugs are alot more serious) I just did notice they have affiliated marketing on some of their sites.

Just kind of curious if anyone else has any ideas with that site...I am really unsure of what to put (as far as content) when the keywords are exact as "hydrocodine" and "vicodin"...maybe informational articles on the dangers of the drugs?

Any help is appreciated, i know there is a million people asking questions but any input is really helpful...

Usually backlinks to online pharmacy sites, porn sites, etc. are considered from "bad neighborhoods" and can do more damage than good. It's not just the quantity but the quality of those backlinks that's important.

One of the most successful online pharmacy owners was from my home state of Minnesota and he's now in jail for 30 years so I wouldn't touch that business with a 10-foot pole so be careful.

Most people will buy their subscriptions online and others won't.

It's like air plane tickets. A lot of people trust the online world to buy their tickets at various websites. There are others who swear they will never buy their tickets online because of trust issues.

I took a business ethics class that had an article about prescription drugs. The world health organization tested random samples of 500 different drugs and found that just over 10% OF them were fake. I would not want to have to worry about the legal problems if someone dies because the bought fake drugs from me.

    Stay away from the pharmacies.

I thank you all for your extended support, I really appreciate it. In regards to the Christopher Smith thing, being from minnesota myself, thats really the only type of news I am into (hah!)
This is the Alexa info for stats and what not (note i just got it in my possession today): alexa.com/siteinfo/hydrocodone-vicodin.com
I hope you all don't assume that I was trying to do something shady or illegal, that was old lifestyle I have gotten ridden of.

Edit: I was thinking about turning it into an addiction/recovery website...I own a charity site based on information on Methadone treatment and other possible methods...So if you haven't guessed it is something I already know. Let me know what you all think.

I like the idea of using as a addiction/recovery site. You could create your own information product since you're familiar with the field or you could promote other products on your site. A search of "drug addiction" on ClickBank should yield a few e-books/products you could promote on that site.

This is also my first time to hear the concept. But I think you must do or prepare lots of things if you’ll have online pharmacy business because of its documents. And since you'll be selling it online, additional requirements will be asked to prove that you're reliable.

Look at the places where the website got links and then decide.
I think affiliates of these online pharmacies are more or less safe, and if one is located in places like India they can get away with it, especially if one is NOT dealing with controlled substances.
