What is YOUR Slowest Day of the Week??

Hi Warriors

Which day of the week is your slowest for traffic and sales?

The reason I ask is because I notice a dip in Traffic on Thursdays for some reason.

It depends on which market we're talking about...

But Mondays can be a pain, generally.

It used to peak on a Monday, then slide all through the week. So Mon/Tue were the best days.

But this year it's changed and Wed/Thu, sometimes Fri seem to be peak days.

    Weekends have taken off too.

I had never thought about this. I think I have to go check my stats right now and get back to you.

But I have to say that I have no business thinking about the slowest day because, after all, I never made any of the days of the week.

I put in my effort into each day believing that my effort will be crowned with success.

Yes, I do my best and leave the rest.

BTW, it could be you that made the day the slowest.

Sundays always suck on my end.

    Ooh, that sounds really dirty.

Thursdays tend to be my best day.

Sundays are always my worst. My best are always Thursday Night, Fridayy (day & night) and Saturday morning. This is in the software niche.

my traffic has been very consistent as that it looks like a kiddy roller coaster lol

Worst day of the week is consistently Sunday and my best day is always Monday... Now that is for organic traffic, I wounder if my paid traffic might differ (something to test I guess)

Ditto to those that said Saturday as the worst day. Typically my weeks start and end strong until it reaches Saturday where my traffic and sales dip.

I do believe there is a diversity of days depending on what the market is.
I find that Mondays and Fridays are usually the slowest. Usually what i see marketers do is find the day that is slowest and arrange some special promotion to pull traffic in.

Typically, when the weather is good - Saturdays are slow during the day. Sunday traffic is slow during the times when people are normally in church or with family, then picks up later in the day. Wednesday evenings are slow. Mondays and Thursdays have been peak days, followed by Tuesdays and Fridays. If you really analyze your traffic, you'll also notice slower days/weeks of the month, etc.

Although I do keep track of the trends, I don't worry about it - I just keep pushing onward. The goal is to create long term, steady income growth.

Saturdays are the slowest without a doubt and Mondays are the busiest. This is for my job search engine website. That trend has been the same sine 2007. My traffic is also effected (reduced) by holidays too.

While some days are always quieter than others (eg Saturday) for me it also depends on the time of the month, maybe due to pay cycles etc.

I've posted on here before that there's always a quieter spell for 2-3 days between the 15th and the 22nd and I've never been able to work out why that is.

It averages out in the end though.

    Cheers,

    Neil

It truly does depend on your niche. I've found that most professional business-related niches that I've owned sell well from Tuesday to Friday and slow on the other days.

Totally depends on the market. I market to businesses, so I often go with zero sales on the weekends or a couple hundred $$ at most. During the week I'll see many sales every day with no real sign as to what days are busier than others.

For me it seems to vary quite a bit from week to week. It use to be that Sunday evenings were always busiest for me by far. I think because everyone is winding down their weekend. But any more I think that weather plays a bigger factor. If it's nice outside in most of the United States, then it's a slow day online. But if it's bad weather, storms, or too cold, then online picks up that day.

    - I wonder if allen has any hard stats from the forum on this one?
