There are plenty of awesome themes available for free if you search properly in google..

Just google:
Best free WPthemes 2010
Best minimal WP Themes
Best two column WP themes etc..

These are my favorites so far..

Do you know where to get free HTML template with matching WP theme?
I mean that HTMl templates can be used as squeeze page or sale page and WP theme is used for blogging purposes.

i dont know if i got you right, but if you want to SEO any theme you are using, there are thousands of plugins. The one i use is called all in one seo pack, and it is very very good. user friendly, easy to use and for each page/post you publish, right below the page there is a place to enter all seo data: title description keywords and other stuff .

Gary What do you mean by SEO theme? A theme made for SEO purposes or a theme for SEO company?
To my knowledge all Studiopress.com themes have maximum SEO functionality. you can find some great themes there, but they are not FREE...
Any way theme alone doesn't play much role in SEO game.It depends on keywords,content,backlinks etc..

Great theme! I really like EZ wordpress themes also. These themes are free and they are constantly adding new ones. The themes are great, but the company never answers emails. I've tried contacting them 3 times with no reply.

Decent theme, although I'd highly recommend replacing the background image with something less distracting (heck, even if you took the image that's there and just applied a 90px gaussian blur to it). Yes, I know it would look less dramatic... and keep people's attemtion on your offer.

ThemeJunkie do some great themes but there's a nearly complete absence of any help files. The support forums answers to questions are pathetic and in barely understandable English.

I notice sometimes questions are asked and URLs given. The answers are complex and not helpful. If you check the URLs you often find the site abandoned or using a different theme.

They're great if they work though!

I suppose that's the "price" you pay when going with a free theme. There may not be any money out out of pocket initially, but you pay in terms of time wasted in finding answers and figuring out through trial and error whether it is actually suitable for you.

If you're setting up WP sites on a regular basis, especially for 3rd party clients, then I suggest sticking with just one or a few free themes that you know very well - otherwise you'll spend all your time "figuring" things out!

wow, thanks for sharing! I like the design and flexibility of this theme!

But, getting the BEST and your MOST favorite theme is like an never ending kind of activity. You can easily keep working at and changing your theme and in the end not providing valuable content to your readers, or not driving enough traffic to your website.

Just too many GOOD theme out there nowadays... I have collected almost 10 pages of theme in my database and every time i build a website, i can easily spent few hours just to pick the best theme for my website... for me, that is not productive unless i am a web designer... lol
