Does Anyone Have Direct CPV Success?

Hey guys,

I was pumped about Direct CPV (or just CPV in general) for about 24 hours until I started thinking and did some investigating only to find out that the "traffic"(8000 in 4 days on 1 niche) I was getting was mostly (if not all) from the impressions that pop on Direct CPVs clients webpage.

From my understanding Google Analytics reads this as a click or "Visit". I saw my bounce rate shoot up and my "Avg Time on Site" shoot down.

I feel there is some hope with this type of advertising... am I right? Is there anyone with some success at this that could give me a few pointers?

      My "Traffic" shot through the roof but my optins went from almost 30% on one site to almost nothing. Avg time on site (analytics) went from 1:30 to 00:00:04.

      I didn't realize that the impressions were being counted as traffic
