        Srsly though...while doing all of our other boring IM "here's my dog training website" stuff, it's not a bad idea to put up a blog about something we love doing. Think about it this way - that's the blog that we are more likely to keep updated, and actually enjoy writing for.

        That reminds me of the time I tried to get on Tyra Banks.

        I had a meeting with her producer to discuss coming on the show. They were excited to have me until they found out I already did Wendy Williams .

        The producer said "being that you already did Wendy, I don't think Tyra would want to do it."

        I swear that was her exact words. I felt like saying "But I really like Tyra. Wendy was just a quick one time thing." LOL

    All right, since we managed to turn a beautiful conversation about a great dad and pancakes into a trip to the gutter - this is my kind of thread!! - here is my completely irrelevant addition;
    When I was a reporter covering a meeting, someone accused a male council member of having reported a local businesswoman for violating an ordinance. The man indignantly said "I did not finger her. I am not deep throat." And THAT'S why I loved being a reporter!

      I'm off to buy a squeeze bottle so I can build me some Taj Mahal pancakes. (He uses a squeeze bottle so that he can squirt out the appropriate pancake shapes to build his creations with.)

      I thought that too. Once I made those pancakes, if my kids got near them, I'd be like "Back off! Put your hands in the air and step awaaay from the pancakes..." Want breakfast, kids? Go to Denny's.
