Is Flower Delivery A Profitable Niche?

I was brain storming over my next niche and I thought about flowers.
I quickly head over to google keyword tool and typed 'flower'
I had it bring back most result with 'flower delivery'

So I typed flower delivery into google and I noticed that it had a lot of ads on google, over 7 ads. The keyword, without quotes had over 5 million competing pages and with quotes it has 2.3million competing pages

Though most site that I came across are majorly flower delivery companies does this mean that It is not a good niche to venture into due to the competing pages?

    no, i have not. i am just begining to have interest in this as my first site was a huge mistake due to huge competition

      Look more into the long tail keywords and structure you site the right way and your be alright this kind of site will work great for keywords that are based on local search terms such as, new york flower delivery, easy keywords to rank for. This way you can join a program such as 1800 flowers.com because with amazon you may find that people want flowers delivered the very next day, and hurry up valentines day will be here soon, big profits
