PROBLEM SOLVED (THANKS!) - Wordpress error and now I can't do anything to my site...

I just renovated an old website from about a year ago without updating to the newest version of Wordpress first. Then I tried to upload and activate the Ozh' Drop Down menu.

It didn't work because the version of Wordpress is the wrong one, and now, I can't do anything with my site. Can't go back and unplug the plugin. Can't update Wordpress. All I get every time I go to wp-admin is a blank grey page that says this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_admin_url() in /home/freeweb/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ozh-admin-drop-down-menu/inc/core.php on line 242.

Can anyone offer advice? Is there a way to get my website back or do I need to uninstall Wordpress and start from scratch again?

Thanks,
James

You shouldn't need to reinsatll wordpress all over again.
You might want to see if you can login into your site via FTP
Try renaming your plugin folder to something else
Refresh your browser and see if you can login

I've done this a few times. If you have ftp access just ftp in and delete the plugin. If it's still broken, re-upload wordpress. Unfortunately, if you don't have ftp access I have no idea.

Oh, DUH...LOL I didn't even think about ftp. Now that you mention that I think this may have happened to me about 6 months ago and that was what I had to do. I'll give it a go. Thanks!
