Best way to market in your domain.

Hi guys,

I have heard a lot of people say it is always best to have a domain in your niche, but lets say I am making a review site with links to amazon and clickbank.

In this case, would it be better to have a "catch all" domain name and still rank for each of my long tail keywords using the pages within the domain?

I support the idea of Niche marketing.

I think it is foolhardy to try and attack the whole weightloss market (competition- 159,000,000), rather you could select a niche within that market and be more effective in it.

If you went into the "teenage weight loss" niche with a competition of 7,220, you will very quickly make your mark

I don't see why you can't do that as long as you do the on page SEO and off page SEO for each page, but I'm not a SEO expert either.
