I completed my first blog, and want to change one of the plug-ins. I logged in, went to my dashboard, and there is no "plug-ins" category listed on the left. I already have a number of plug-ins on the site. So where is the plug-in category? I am using the 20-10 theme if that matters. Thanks

Use your FTP client and locate the site that your WordPress blog is on. Find WP Content, then find the Plugins folder.

All of your plugins should be there..

As to why they are not showing up... I am not sure exactly. To upgrading to the newest version of Wordpress.

Plugins is below Appearance and above Users on the left hand side of your dashboard.

      Hope this helps.

It's not below "Appearance"? Do you know how to post a screenshot?

Trust me, the only thing directly below appearance on the drop down is themes, widgets, menus, extras, header, theme options, typekit fonts, edit CSS and then below all those, Users.

You might try going directly to the page. See if it show up (not that that's a solution), but it might make things easier for you:

    (if installed in the root)

    Code:
    http://yourblog.com/wp-admin/plugins.php
If that page is there, you might try deactivating them all, then see if the menu appears again. If it does, then reactivate them all again ONE BY ONE to see if one is the culprit.

If you can't find that page, you might go into your folders on the server as ChrisWater suggested, and then delete them all and see if that does the trick. If it does, put them back ONE BY ONE to see if one is the culprit.

Plugins are often the culprit when something was working but then suddenly doesn't.
