Amazon Affiliates : Quick Question

Hey,

If someone clicks through to Amazon using my affiliate link, will I get commission for sale while the cookie is active or do I only get commission for a sale of product that was originally linked?

I see you're in the UK. Not sure if it's different there or not. But if someone clicks on your link and buys a toaster, and then buys a dozen other things at the same time you'll get commisisons for all of the items.

You get commission on anything that person buys through your link. So they dropped the cookie down to 24 hours now? Bummer.

The good news is that Amazon's affiliate link is different than any other affiliate links.

Suppose you reviewed an Amazon product and a visitor clicked on your affiliate link. Then he decided to get a second opinion from another reviewer, liked their version better and clicked though their affiliate link to purchase the product.

Who gets the commission? You do. You were the first affiliate link that eh visitor clicked on.

All other affiliate links act the opposite. Someone else's cookie could knock your cookie off.
