The Devil is in the Disclaimers!

I've been working for hours on my Terms of Service for a new website and I'm exhausted!

I could easily write a ton of articles or do any number of things related to promoting my site in the time I've spent, but it's a necessary evil.

I try not to copy others, but it sure is handy to have at least a framework to work with.

Do you guys spend a lot of time on this aspect of your web business or am I just being overly paranoid?

I just use auto web law. You only need to fill in a few fields and then generate it and your done. I feel a lot more comfortable doing that than trying to come up with something on my own.

Stephen, in the military, we have the phrase/saying, CYA = Cover Your Anatomy.

When it comes to these issues, the best way to CYA is to seek the help of a qualified expert. In this case, I would recommend: Internet Marketing Law Center - Membership

If you didn't already know, Brian is a trusted WF member.

Hours? The problem is you're not an expert so you may not be sure what you're doing, what certain terms mean, or even if after all this time you're doing it right.

Life is too short and you have marketing to do. Check out my sig for a recent comment about what the Internet Marketing Law Center can do for you.
