What type of traffic that converts into highest ROI of expense *AND* time?

I am sure this have been discussed somewhere in this forum...if so, please kindly point me there ;-) I am aware there are couple types of traffics such as ppc, media buy, ppv, off-site seo, offline, etc. Some use certain traffics solely for brandings, others to convert offers, etc. I know it depends on too many factors such as landing page, affiliate products, ads, type of niches, etc. Those who have tried many different type of traffics with SIMILAR campaign, please post the type of traffic that converts into highest ROI of expense *AND* time. If you want to keep it a secret, you don't have to explain it in details. Just one word would do like "PPV", "PPC", etc. No theories or opinions please. Just your actual experience.

    Personally, SEO has been the most beneficial for me...both on and off page.

    It is the only thing that I feel has brought me traffic worth having.

    Can't say much for PPC or PPV. I really don't have much experience with those.

    So we're supposed to spend years testing everything and then you want it handed to you on a plate with no theories allowed?

    I think organic search traffic has the highest ROI for me and translates to the best time investment.

      The reason is I don't want to create another debate thread like SEO vs PPC based on theories and opinions...the goal of this thread is to share neutral discussion looking into all types of traffics with actual result. I just have shared my result ;-)

        SEO and PPC traffic to me is the same. It's called searched traffic and in my opnion it's the second best form of traffic for conversions.

        The best source of traffic is from Email lists. If you or someone else has a responsive list in your niche then you will see the most conversions with a great offer to that list.

        There's more to it than that but this should give you an idea.

          Jan roos, exactly what I was thinking, wondering how different type of traffics converts (searching, browsing, reading, viewing (videos/photos), listening, shopping, comparing, researching, etc...) while worth your time and money spent building a campaign to tap those type of traffics.
